Dear Future Husband

Someday we will be in that place,
Where we can say our vows and promises.
Family, friends and the whole world will witness,
As we both say "yes" with that magical kiss.

Someday I will be walking on that aisle,
Wearing a white gown with a beautiful smile.
Looking at you without a blink of an eye,
It will be a great day that will surely make us cry.

Someday we will be going to stay,
In one house where we can start our journey.
We will be filled with laughter from our baby,
The fruit of our love as what they say.

Someday we will be going to fight,
About those stuffs that will give us sleepless night.
Our love for each other must be strong and tight,
'Cause for every darkness there is always a light.

Someday we might meet temptation,
Bear in mind to be loyal and faithful to our relation.
So that our family will not be in commotion,
Staying together for life will be our greatest mission.

Someday our ages will get old,
We will serve as blanket to each other when one feels cold.
Our love story will be the greatest story which is never been told,
We will prove to them that forever exists as they never called.

My Son, Skyler Jay Betatche

Sun shines and so are you,
Keep smiling like you always do.
You're worth the pain that I've been through,
Like a treasure that is so true.
Entrust in me your life and future,
Rest assured you'll be secure.

Just grow with respect and fear of God,
Always remember to trust the One above,
You're blessed with Him and forever loved.

Be patient and understanding in all situation,
Everything happens for a certain reason.
Talk humbly and honestly towards a person,
Admit and apologize when you are wrong.
Think positive with no commotion,
'Cause every problem has always a solution.
Hail to the Lord, He gave me a son like you,
Even people leave you behind, I'll never go.

Unrequited Love

"Hello" was the first word you utter,
'Twas the day when we started getting to know each other.
But one day I heard you saying "I really like her,"
And I was secretly wishing that I was the girl.

You were very kind and so trustworthy,
You made a lot of effort to make me happy.
You were like a hero in a story,
You made my heart flutter every time you were with me.

And then one time you told me you had a surprise,
I was so excited but I was in disguise.
You even told me to close my eyes,
You were with someone and it was too late for me to realize.

I smiled and acted like nothing was wrong,
'Twas called putting my pain aside and being strong.
I was loving you so much for so long,
And I thought you loved me too like your favorite song.

Maybe it was right to put the blame on me,
I fell in love with you and I assumed totally.
I wanted to cry and to run so far away,
When the truth hit me that there was never you and me.

The Kind of Love That You Deserve

Love is a feeling we want to receive,
But not something that we ask for.
Love is something that we want to give,
Must be wholeheartedly and not by force.

Falling in love is a great feeling,
It's like eating your favorite meal.
Receiving love is a blessing,
Especially if it's pure and real.

But don't rush into falling in love,
Wait for the love that is meant for you.
The kind of love that is given by God,
A love that is genuine and true.

Love isn't deceiving but people are,
Choose the one whose intentions aren't blurred.
So guard your heart at all cost,
Don't just fall for someone who will make you question your worth.

You deserve a love which gives you peace,
Not the kind of love which gives you stress.
Your heart is fragile and precious,
Some will break it and some will handle it with care so be careful who you choose.

Never let a person fool you,
Be with someone who is true.
Never let a fool make you less of a person.
Be with someone who will stay with you under the sun, the stars and the moon.

The Moon

How beautiful it is,
To watch you up there.
Glowing so bright,
As the sky's getting darker.

Can you see me, too?
Am I as beautiful as you?
Do I also glow?
I just really hope so.

You're the light in my darkness,
Up there is your best place.
You're my friend whom I can't talk to,
I feel comforted by staring at you.

Whatever you are,
Crescent or full,
Together with the stars,
You are so beautiful!

Who Knows Me Better

"You're a failure!"
"You're nothing but a loser!"
"Freak!"
"Crazy!"

Funny how people treat me that way,
When the truth is that they don't know the real me.
It's so easy for them to say,
Hurtful words would never let them sway.

But words won't bring me down,
I'll stand firmly, head's up with my crown.
For all I know that I can still go on,
Someone's cheering me up, my reflection!

They see me as a failure,
I see an experienced person in the mirror.
They think I am a loser,
I see a woman who's getting stronger and braver.

People's words will surely affect my feeling,
But I don't swallow those, I let them shrink.
They can degrade me all they want, it's fine!
As long as there's someone in the mirror who knows who I really am.

Me and My Stupidity

Everyday I wake up,
Looking for a new start.
Hoping that I still have a part,
Right there in your heart.

I was so lucky to have you,
But then I let my chance blow.
And now I'm hoping I can undo,
All those bad things I've done to you.

I'm sorry for the things I did,
For wrong decisions that I made.
Sorry for all the mistakes I've committed,
How I wish it will be all forgotten with just one good deed.

Sincerely I'm saying sorry,
I'm saying this wholeheartedly.
If there's one thing you can blame someday,
That's me and my stupidity.

I know it's not easy to do,
Forgetting things which hurt you.
But then I won't let my hopes go,
That one day you'll forget and forgive me too.

Rainbow

Remember this phrase as always my friend,
After the rain there is a rainbow at the end.
In every darkness there will be a light,
No negativity and yes to positive sight.
Be brave because you are not alone,
Overcome your fears and stand strong,
Win your battles even you're on your own.

My friend, Jorelyn

She's good to those who are nice to her,
But she's as wicked as witch to those who are badder.
She's full of confidence in everything that she does,
But then, yes, she's perfectly imperfect like us.

She loves writing as much as she loves reading,
Because she believes that's way better than just imagining.
Beauty pageant is what she enjoys joining in,
Not to please people but to prove to herself that she also has the brain.

She likes those people who are true to themselves,
But she doesn't like those who are pretending just to be likable for others.
If you can accept yourself for who you really are,
Then she'll be forever grateful and admire you more even from afar.

She used to be a stubborn child to her parents back then,
But now she's totally different because she already realized her sin.
Achievements in her life are all for them,
Of course, she thanks it all to the One in Heaven.

My Love Language

My love language is in a different way,
You'll know that you're special to me,
When I start making you the subject of my poetry.

My love language is made up of words,
From beginning to end,
You'll be the topic, for sure!

But my love language is not just a poem,
It comes with feelings and emotions,
And not just something that comes up in my imagination.

Sharing with you my knowledge,
My tender care with the pledge,
Is my own kind of love language.

That's how I love,
By showing the talent,
Which is given by God.
