Shape of love

There's a manner of love i spend most nights lost in the stars, trying to understand.

A love so strong it pulls one back from despair into a warm shimmering light.
A warm, touching love, capable of understanding and grasping all manner of thought.

Possessing ears that listen to every voice and pay attention to even the harsh words without getting hurt.
No, but rather it does listen, quietly, as it extends the arms of comfort, and offer up gentle soothing words, words of divine intervention, piercing into the suicidal and lonely heart, planting the seed of life.

A fairy tale this love may seem, but very real this love is, this gentle attentive love capable of great things.
Ironically budding in the not so attentive hearts of human beings

Mediocre Me, Silly Me

Thinking of what the top looks like, and everytime the scent of fear comes back.

Mediocre me, weakly me, silly me, frequently thinking and dreaming of greatness weekly - The fire burning in my chest as I dive deeply into daydreaming.

But I want this to be real, I want to be more than just a dream, I want to be more than just me.

Fear creeping in, death driving me deep, despair pulling my feet, but I hear that the heavens only honour men that grit their teeth - for this reason I refuse to remain just silly, weakly, mediocre ME.

S and S

"For as long as they can remember, the burden to protect and provide have all that has been on their minds
Family members at the fore front of their hearts
The sailor and the soldier both offering their lives

Far from home they sail,
On different fronts they wander
On enemy lands they hope to prevail
On treacherous seas facing monsters

Of the sailor and soldier, never have I met men so bolder
The sailor and the soldier both bearing the burdens and carrying the cross
The sailor and the soldier,
The thought of six-feet under a heavens choice"

Becoming Light

I find myself lost in a cave, the deep despair pulling away my fickle little strength
Is this the end, and my feet says yes with crumbling fear
But I refuse to believe this is my best, I pull back with what little strength I have left, I crawl, I fumble and fall, but still I crawl, I crawl, fear persists but my heart resist, my heart resist, not seeing the light, but still I'll crawl, I'll crawl till I become the light.

Becoming Greatness

It's just a phrase
But it's one I'll say,
It's just a phrase
But it's one I'll say everyday
It's just a phase
But is one I'll say everyday and spit in the face of disdain
It's just a phrase
But it's one I'll say everyday and spit in the face of disdain, until it is etched in my name
It's just a phrase
But it's one I'll say everyday and spit in the face of disdain, until it is etched in my name and I am known as the man who said "....I will do it" and did it even with rigor and pain.
