The Day Before Today

Is it weird to ask yourself if you are okay?
Is it strange to stare into the mirror and for once,
For once look at yourself with true honesty.
Is everything okay?
And even if when it’s not, the world doesn’t seem to care.
Whether you wake up another day.
But today is different, today is a new start.
Although the mirror tells differently, as I look at myself, every single part.
Yes, today is okay, today I dare to be bold, today I dare to be okay.
For tomorrow, is another step up the ladder, a step far away. 
Far away from a lesser day.
Towards a day where I dare to be okay.
