Flesh

FLESH!

Distain for the comfort of others.
Blasphemy riddled lips.
Persecuted by the blood of another.
Convicted, wounded and ripped.

An errant thief that haunts this feeble mind.
Surrounding the haunting memories of distant past.
“Who art though,” I ask? Are you here to judge me?
The light of comfort wilts and never lasts.

Huddled amongst the inner illness.
Envision your way through a shattered mental maze of darkness and dismay.
A path obscured by the pitfalls and endless traps.
Only to invoke a demon that lurks in the shadows feeding on my emotions until I collapse.

Ask the question of, who am I?
Reach out and touch the empty seed.
Besieged by the darkness enclaved in its grasp.
Its chokes the essence of my soul as I beg and plead.

In terror I ask forgiveness and make amends.
Deep in my heart I reach out to the light. I beseech thee.
Wipe away the tears of pain and discontent.
Please hear my cry, my request, and my plea.
Does God really exist?

The demon replies, "Your soul is the flesh which I desire."

Flesh!
Dripping blood wet flesh.
It is my motivation.
It is my hunger.
To taste its savory raw tissue is almost as enjoyable as the kill of the
Prey from which I plucked the ripe morsel
Flesh!

Peace

Basking in the sun on a warm summer day
Closing your eyes and drifting away
The day melts into a web of thought as the moon gently masks the sun

Spiraling downward towards the menacing dark
You search your soul for that life giving spark
A hope of love to guide the way to your childhood fun

As the stars move in to greet the moon
Your inner peace rises to croon
A lullaby to sooth the soul and heart

All negative thoughts scream as they pass by
You’re in control of this wayward ride
Keep humming for your destination isn’t far

How much you desire to live this life of peace
A wish upon a star, some hope, to please
that wondering mind so full of discontent and hate

You hear and see a familiar face
It’s you at age ten just hiding away
in the dark and alone begging to be saved

You reach out to the boy to embrace him
The two of you become one again
Exhilarating this must feel to know you are one

The light behind you shines to show the way
You peacefully walk towards the light with no desire to stay
in this dark and disgusting web that the evil of your mind has spun

You greet the morning sun with love
You gaze upon the sky above
searching the heavens for God’s glory

The skies don’t open as you sit and pray
But a tingling in your heart gives way
to the feeling of peace ending so much pain to your story

This may happen to you my friend
A feeling of loving thyself that never ends
So open your heart and let the blissful peace take over your fear

It won’t be easy to block the evil and negative thoughts
But the alternative is to allow it to fester and rot
Within your heart and soul you can hear the screams come near

So, steer from this evil place you call home my friend
And accept the love, peace, and hope that never ends
It’s your world to conquer not the iniquity of pain!

Facade

Dampen the nimble finger wrought by sentient numb
Five senses discerning feelings eventually to succumb
to chaos, blackness, soothing yet ravaged within
Whisper to the hand the deceives, don’t deny the sin

Illusory, ambiguous, settle upon the judge me not
Sail under false hope, entice the meek and unfortunate
Wing thyself from beguiled thoughts and guilty pleasures
Deliquesce into delirium and sense the battered measure

Empathetic disadvantage of devilish wit
Thy soul has drifted into the eternal abyss
Eloquent phrases bequeathed, befriending those close
Façade forged for protection in wrought iron and stone

Eclipse the spiritual sun, enter the center black mass
The latent inner self who desires not to envision the past
Seek and reap the martyrdom of intolerance
Chauffeur the soul through familiar fraudulence

Criminal content starving with motives of malice
Deliver yourself from evil, pray to glorious menace
The Rancid decay of carouse content emits a pulse
of foul stench within the mind finding no solace

Secret

Crimson river, tide so wide, mucilage aged in thee
Blessed be the one to pray against the raging sea
Pusillanimous feelings, no honor, resting in an ossified wind
Redemption begets the soil destined for sin

Back away, crush the inside mold, break the pattern
Hot iron strikes the furious percipient mind in discern
Distrust the dogmatic absolute, praise be it in me
Fretful art thou, take flight in haunted melodies

“What is this?” you asked with such hateful discontent
A safe haven of admiration and respectful reverence or contempt
Be it may or be it not, it consumes thy heart with ravaged pain
“Does thou have faint of heart with discourse for bloodstain?”

Sanctify, anoint, consecrate or be damned
Haphazardly except the secrets passed on hand to hand
The ambiguity of said consecration only impairs judgment
So beware what you wish for it may arise in malcontent

Relinquish

Wither into dismay my morose friend
Sullen intent filters to the masses befriending the inner abyss
A beacon, that beckons ferociously through this scattered mind
Slither beneath the skin a thick black mist

Feel the eternal torture as the torment wheel spins
Whosoever denies me suffers malicious hands
Blistering solitude engulfs you in a world so cold
Salvation rocks the cradle as against sinful demands

Relinquish all harbored disease buried deep within the soul
Bequeath that you do not desire to devote and embrace me
I am the remedy of such anguish and pain
Stand up and come forth to claim your right beneath me

Misery barricaded for no witness to bare
Such a shameful and sad heart that reeks of havoc
Mindful gestures turned to herded habitual nature
Look away, discard, and burn this chaotic world

Praise be the bounty brought forth to wash away the memories
Contract, devote, relinquish and there shall be no more
Amidst at the aguish laden road it ends in darkness
Close your eyes my old friend, slip away forever more

For you have no more cross to bare!

Branded

Wasted breath, an ounce of pain
Storming in with thunderous rage
Denial, post wrath of oblivious lies
Imbecility moments, gestures captured and tide
Only the disheartened will know…

Swing in from the depths of your mind
Nothing left to capture, heed to time
Ravaged, broken, solace no more
We know anguish, we keep the score
Only the disenchanted will know…

Bring forth, raise us from the black seed
Guide us out of the darkness, set us free
We know the torment, we hold so close
Lower your hands grasp on and hold
Only the amiable will know…

Luminous, radiant, peaceful, and celestial
Darkness strangles the tenebrous soul
Balancing to hold on, rocking to and fro
Shrouded in pessimistic thoughts, I let go
Only the meek and unpropitious know…
