Will You Wear My Ring

Will you wear my ring
you know what that means
I love you
for the rest of my life
just say you'll be my wife
it tells the world
how much I love you
and I know you already do
will you wear my ring
it's a perfect understanding
we can love each other
forever
never apart
from one another's heart
it means everything
will you wear my ring

Danced All Night

This girl and I
we danced all night
until the mornings light
she was shaking just right
wetting my appetite
the moon was dancing too
it's love we do
this girl and I
just flying high
on the dance floor
dirt poor
magical
beautiful
it's a special time
for two to light up and shine
like two flowers breathing
mating
a perfect
compliment
intimately
dancing this girl and I

At Your Door

Went to knock on your door
saw the shades drawn
a note on the floor
said don't want to see you no more
a crushing blow
took a step back
couldn't understand why
but I could feel my heart die
so many questions
love closing on me
tears running down my eyes
falling down to one knee
wish she could see
what she's doing to me
how could she let me go free
don't tell me to move on
my life and my love is gone

Mr. Mayonaise

Hey there jar of Mr. Mayonaise
what is the latest craze
staring at your jar
in a daze
just a spread
laying dead
on a piece of bread
hope it makes my day
taste better
next time maybe butter
what makes me love her
always wanting more
expecting a sweet sunflower
a taste of flavor
my soul to savor

Just Another Womans Song

Your love has taken its toll
it's bruised my soul
and now your loves out of control
why did you say
that you love me
when you wanted to just be free
it was just another play
and now my soul's in disarray
why did you stay so long
and now you say it's all wrong
it's just another womans song
there's nothing I can do
except to say that I love you
your love belongs to another
I guess it's over
have to start again
with another womans song

It's You I'M Missing

I came after you
it's you i'm missing
desperately wanting
to see you again
I know I made the mistake
but I was in confusion
it's you i'm missing
i'm coming to get you
I know what i'm supposed to do
hope it's not too late
hope you will wait
it's so cold without you
just wait for me
I'm coming after you
it's you i'm missing

Want To Love Her Again

I just want to see her
to love her again
my heart wide open
falling for her
makes me feel so good
love that mood
touching her all over
makes me feel so happy
its just supposed to be
I need her
just come on over
such a special feeling
there's nothing
that can compare
she's the only one
I want to love again

Hotel

Stayed at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona
darkness lit the hallway
the only place I could afford to stay
each night I would pray
that the next day
would not come
I was stuck, abandoned
hungry no food around
wondering when death would come
no way out
next door people would shout
at their crying babies
no one with any money
and empty bellies
no solutions
just empty notions
dark and abandoned
at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona

The Baby

The baby checked into life
not knowing he'd be all alone
for the rest of his life
not able to find himself
he put the world on the shelf
studied love all the time
and none he could find
it was blind
to him
never open
just saddened
felt abandoned
put himself to sleep
knowing no one would weep
wishing death would come
all alone in his home

Took My Pills Today

Took my pills today
bad dreams come and play
and sad times stay
theres no delay
just comes right away
then my fear dies
tears I fight to cry
screaming
fighting
don't want to die
take it I must
wipe off the dust
apple pie
pills inside lie
why do they try
tell me to trust
death and I brush
what's the rush
it's the only way
take my pills today
