These Words

All these words and all these lines
Just keep running through my mind
By the dozens, they drown out sound
And force me to quickly write them down
Lines and lyrics in poetic rhyme
Written within record time
Words so simple and plain to me
Can bring a smile or a tear you see
Though these are more
Than mere words to me
It is a part of my soul,
From way down deep
So please excuse me
While I let it all out
Or these words will drive me crazy
Without any doubt!

Tempers and Attitudes

Tempers and attitudes in our house did stay
Guess it was because we were raised that way
Things could get bad when one of us got mad
If you escaped unhurt, then be really glad
For the attitudes would flare
And tempers would rage
We were all quite violent for our age
With our fists our problems were solved
I know that may sound unorthodox to all
But in our home, an evil ruled
In being mean, we were schooled
My brother and sister were taught well
Mess with them and you’ll pay hell
One day while they were playing together
Sitting by the stove because of cold weather
My brother had taken sis’s doll away
With her, this was not how to play
She got mad and started to cry
My brother laughed as he watched her whine
Well then she thought that little brat
If he wants to fight, then I’ll just fight back
So into the ashes from under the stove
She reached in and pulled out a bolt
A bolt from a rail road tie I believe
And trust me when I say they’re big
She turned around and without a word
A big loud crack from his head could be heard
Golden blonde hair now soaked with blood
I had watched from where I stood
This little girl with such cute curls
Has proven that she’ll rock your world
If you mess with her or her dolls
You’d better run at least three miles
For her revenge is not too good
My brother knows and this is understood
For underneath that cute exterior
Is the soul of a very brave warrior

Would You Like To Know a Psycho?

If you’d like to know a psycho
Then come along with me
And I will paint you a picture
Of the psycho of the east;
Not your ordinary psycho
She’s a new breed;
On your emotions,
She loves to feed
A life led by drama
Driven by any cost
Never any remorse
For the lives that she lost;
A new person each day
Her characters she plays
Are really very bright
She has the brains,
But absolutely no insight
Not a clue to life
She will always walk blind
Drugs, sex, money, hate
Mess with her and get a court date
If her games you want to play
Then a hefty price you will have to pay
But I did not back down from thee
The cost for court is just a fee
But in order for me to defend my rights
Then in this court we will fight
In front of the bench
She against me
Who will be found innocent?
And who will be guilty
But oh to her surprise
And time after time
Cases are dismissed
And we’re wasting too much time
The fight gets ever brutal
As children are involved
Anything to hurt us
Driven at any cost
The emotional abuse
And brainwashing galore
Left me with wanting to stop her
But then I wanted more;
Not a mother on earth
Or none that deserve to be
Would ever treat their children
As evil as she
Other people maybe
Ex’s without a doubt
But the way she scared them kids
Made me want to put her down
She tortured them with mind games
In court she likes to play
But when she challenged me
She surely woes the day!
The psychos challenge was accepted
And I gladly played with glee
For every claim she made
My defenses came in three
And when she’d exhausted all lies
And stories had all been told
Out of the defense corner
I came standing bold
My evidence against her
Could make the whole city see
That this woman is psycho
And from her all should flee
Dangerous and venomous
A hazard to your health
If she can’t beat you in court
She’ll threaten you with death
I don’t take the psycho lightly
I know she is serious as can be
But as long as I’m around
She’ll have to get passed me!

Scream and Shout

I wish this battle would end today
I’m so tired and really must say
That if you continue
To stress me out
I’m afraid there’s more I can do
Than simply just shout
You say I drive you crazy
And you don’t know why
That I must scream, yell and cry
Well just once
You should hear me out
Then maybe I wouldn’t
Feel the need to shout out
But you must understand
There is a reason to you whys
Why you make ME crazy
And why I easily cry
And I’m not saying
I’m right and you’re wrong
I’m simply saying
It’s getting hard to go on
With this life I made with you
Our home, our marriage
And our children too
I love you all without doubt
But I can’t stand
How you make me shout
And I do not like the way you are
When you say that’s it
And that it is YOU who are tired
For I have put in
One hundred and ten percent
And you may say you love me
But I can’t see that yet
I thought I did when we first met
But that one I haven’t
Figured out just yet
But I know this without a doubt
That the that you make me shout
Just isn’t right
And is driving me insane
As well as it is you
I can see your views
But the problem here
Is easy to see
It is a little bit you
And a little bit me
And together with family
Disaster makes three
That is my view
At this present time
Concluded from the vibes
That I get from you
And if you don’t get
What I’ve been trying to say
Then I hope and I pray
You figure it out one day
For I’m tired of explaining
Myself to you
When all that you do
Is form your own views
I’m sick of the way
I scream and I shout
When you twist things around
And put words in my mouth!!

My Children

My children are my life
My reason to survive
They are each so distinct
And very special to me;
Kyle who is the youngest
I will forever cherish
His laughter and his smile,
Is contagious after a while;
Kassandra, my little girly
She is just too pretty
And with the brains to go with
Her beauty can’t be missed;
Michael, the oldest of mine
Came along just in time
He possesses intelligence,
That is rare at first glance
But once he starts to tell all
He will baffle your mind with awe;
Little David, who at the age of eight
Was placed upon my life’s’ plate
A mix of emotions is he
A sense of humor which is unique
A heart that is full of feeling
But there is a wall he keeps building;
Little Christina was only nine
When we met the first time
So angelic and sweet she was,
Definitely not hard to love
Today she is basically the same
Except when hormones come to play;
And Drake, although not mine
I will love for all time
To me he is the same
As the ones that I have named;
These are my children,
Each special to me
They are my life
And my responsibility
I’ve given an oath
And will do my best
To make sure they will be raised
To be better than the rest

Mom

To a mom like no other
This I say without a doubt
For she is much more than a mother
She is a friend who is truly devout
She is someone special
Someone innocent and true
Although she can be quite feisty
If her frustration turns on you
She knows the value of friendship though
And the angel does shine through
When a friend needs help in a hurry
She will be there to do what she can do
Her back is never turned
To any that she loves
And if you had the chance to know her
You would see just what her love does
Her arms are always open
As well as her front door
When looking for a friend
No one could ask for more
But when it comes to our moms
And whose is better than whose
I hate to upset any ones mom
But my mom stands out the most!!!

The Pond

During our time spent in old Blue
There was a pond up the road
That we liked to go to
Didn’t matter if it was hot or froze
When we were bored
Off to the pond we’d go
There were many good times there
So many recollections to share
There were way to many days
Where on the bank we would stay
Fishing pole in one hand
And if we were lucky
In the other hand, a soda can
Sit on the bank and fish all day
Just to pass the time away
One day we had quite a scare
As I felt a tug on my line
I pulled as hard as I dared
And you would never guess
What went flying through the air?
It was large and round
And gave us all a fright
We thought it a monster
Upon first sight
It landed behind us
At the edge of the woods
Creeping close to take a look
As only kids would
Much to our surprise
And much to our dismay
I had done went and caught
A huge snapping turtle that day!
Another memory that I recall
Was when the pond was frozen
We’d have us a ball
On the ice all day we’d skate
That little pond
Seemed as big as a lake
Skating on ice
Until our calves would hurt
And getting up off our butts
Became way too much work
Round and round the pond we’d go
We loved the cold and the snow
The fun we had back then
I’ll remember time and again
For when a little pond I find
A little memory stirs inside
Of days of freedom and lots of fun
Beside the pond, sitting in the sun

Heart Attack!!

To let you know
My love is real
Listen now
While I tell you
What I feel
You want to know
 What is true?
I’m telling you
You have a great view
The truth is right here
In front of your face
Do you think that I
Could be any more plain?
I try to be simple
So all understand
But at times I think
That all of man
I correct that
Women too
All have weird
Points of view
The ones that think
The way that I do
A far between
And very few
So please don’t ask me
Why anymore
For I can’t tell you
If you shut the door
Or build the wall
And ignore my call
No, that just won’t
Help at all
SO if you love me
And want to know me
And say that you,
Will always hold me
Then you should listen
To all I say,
And know that I
Mean all I say
For I do not lie
And if in doubt
Then there is no more I can do
To clear that cloud
Just ask you to listen
And please pay attention
And these words that I say
You can take to the bank
For they won’t bounce
Nor ever come back
For revenge with
That big scary,
Heart attack!

A Perfect Garden

Take me to the other side,
A place where I can run and hide
A magic place where dreams come true
A perfect garden with a view;
An ivy covered arch hovers above the gate
Then picture roses of various colors and shape
Weeping willows spread throughout
Connected by vines and moss, to keep heat out;
Flowers as far as the eye can see
Spread upon a sea of green,
And this isn’t just any shade of green
It’s the deepest green, you’ve ever seen,
Downy, white, clouds, way up high
Watch as they go floating by
Many shapes leave no doubt
This is surely art, disguised as clouds!
Over the horizon,
Painted across the bright, blue sky
The most beautiful rainbow catches my eye
Red, green, yellow, purple, and, blue
Shades of these colors, so vibrant and true;
And if all of this sounds heavenly to you
Then wait until sunset, and enjoy the view
A view that is different from anywhere else
For this sun sets over land that’s been blessed…

Get R Done

Get r done, you say in fun
Hurry up and birth my son
The time is near and coming soon
For Dallas to exit from your womb
Your second son will make your family whole
A new life for you is yet to unfold
Get r done you will surely say
When Crystal tells you it is now your day
To watch the boys while she goes out
Then you will be the one to pout
Of all the stress that children bring
The diapers and bottles and all those fun things
But I will tell you this without doubt
To get r done you have been devout
Your love for your children will forever grow
Will and Dallas has a wonderful home
One where laughter will fill their heads
Right up until time for bed
When dad is yelling Get R Done
And the little ones are ready for morning to come
Then mom will be the one to shout
I got r done, now go play and stay out!
