Ain'T It Ashame?

You decided to drink and drive,
You're to blame,
Ain't it ashame?
A family is at a lost
And to what cost?
What now to do
It's up to you.

I feel like I am at particial blame
Ain't it ashame?
Now your in a jail cell
And it's impossible to get bail
Maybe you learned your lesson
And drinking isn't a messon

I don't want you to be in there
I can only imagine the scare.
Maybe you won't drink
And come home and pass-out at the sink.
We need a dad who cares
I guess were to blame
Ain't it ashame?

Beloved Things In Life

The most beloved things in life
Are the things so small
It could be a hunters knife
Or the sound of a newborns call
A young boys first kiss
Or a young lovers bliss
Something everyone may at sometime miss
From a pet
To the first person you ever met
Keep these things close to heart
Because these are the things that make life worth living.

Barely a Poem

I am so poetic in my mind
But when I try to write
And let the word and emotion flow
Nothing seems to come; just go
I am left with nothing but confusion
As to why I am so illiterate
But I manage to bounce back
Be it a masterpeice or life changing story.
God gave me this gift
And for that I thank him.

Something Is Wrong

Glass shadering in the midst of night
Something isn't right
What was here is now gone
Something is very so wrong

No Time

I have no time to rhyme
I am a stong believer of free verse
Maybe that beith the my curse
I just write as it comes
Like a young boy with his first set of drums
It's hard for me to express....
I guess
It beith quite difficult to rhyme
So kudos to those with the thought and time.

A Love That Never Ends

A love that never ends
Is a love that never begins
There are so few cases of true love
The only one I have found is with family
They love me and I do them
I have all I could want and all I need
Its a love that never ends
From beginning to
Forever and ever amen

The End

A young child loved by many
Hid all the beatings, lashings, and hittings
No one knew what "home" was like
Many could guess but ne'er one was right
Dreading every step that took her near
Her heart sank and filled with fear.
The door creaks as she so quietly walks in
And seeing what she saw, she knows it's the end
Not a teacher, parent, nor child from afar
Knows how bad these things are
Now a child in heaven silently scorns
For all the reasons she was ever born.

What Is It?

What is it anyway?
Writing on a page,
Rhyming words in your mind,
Does anyone know?

Maybe it is just the want of some fantasy
Is there always a meaning behind it?
Is it not one without something?
Just what exactly is this thing you call a
         POEM?

Remember When

Remember when we used to walk together
Down the road and we would talk about everything

Remember when we used to go to the movies
And watch as many movies we could afford

Remember when we went to the park
And watched all the kids play

Remember when we best buddies
As soon as we met that day

Remember when I took the blame for you
And you did for me too

Remember when you went to the hospital
And I was right there with you

Remember when my grandma died
And you wouldn't leave my side

Remember when we fell in love
And we found what love truely meant

Remember when I was right there
When I saw you cheat

Remember when I died inside
On that empty hollowed out street

Remember when you said it was over
And I cried till I died

Remember When?

Dead

I put the knife to my skin
And pull it across amany times again
I see the red seeping through
The first time i didn't know what to do
Advanced and now know the game
But my parents think me a shame.
Always seem to be depressed
And I'm not the one to be detessed
When happy I'm at my worst
At times I am coersed

I feel so cold
Look down to notice
I'm on the floor
Lying in a puddle, blood red
I pray someone walk in the door
To Late! "But I've always wanted to see the Dead."
