Dad,
We may be apart,
But not by heart,
We may have our differences,
But I will always be your princess,

But we know not to elope,
We may feel frustrated at the world,
So let's not add more to the load,
We may not show our love,

My little brother,
Likes to be a bother,

Everywhere we go,
We know he's bound to act slow,

Doesn't care if we have company or not,
His nose will always be full of snot,

After dark,
When the perfumed air,
of fallen leaves slick with rain,

Smells of the brooks surging with the rush,
