Morning Glory
A stillness before the mayhem
Tranquil but alive
Birds are awoken
Meticulous melodies begin
Captivating silence again
Morning begins to show
Its fascinating light beams
The air sounds of gushing waterfalls
Overflowing my dreams
Enthralling me to stay awake
The morning glory calls
I sit in stillness
Whilst I can
Before the mayhem
Starts again.

Funny Here and There Days
Some days i don't know what's wrong or right
What to think or what to do
I haven't got a blooming clue !
Chasing thoughts good and bad
I feel happy then i feel sad
I'm disappointed then i'm glad
Looking out of the window
Watching everyone go by
Life carries on, no matter what
Enjoy, everything you have got
I want to be alone, but feel lonely
I need sometime to absorb the crazy
Then i can face the world again
Before i go insane
My mind is full of jumble
My words are a dull mumble
Feel like i'm going to tumble
But, somehow i stand tall
I'm not going to fall
I've grown stronger
Won't stand this nonsense any longer !

It just turns up
like an uninvited guest
Putting me to the test
It sits there waiting
Im not impressed
Waiting for my weakness
Sneaking around my veins
It overpowers me
Like a snake
But i'm awake
Shivers, shakes, a dark place
I breathe slow and steady
I'm ready
Letting go I feel giddy
It starts moving towards the door
I need to focus on my happy thoughts
Yellow, pink, orange and blue
Squirrels and Robins
Trees and flowers
Family and friends
Love is true
It flies out of the door
I am me once more
I am ready
The door is locked
I'm safe again.

I stood in the darkness for a while
I seen a Ray of light
I knew I had to fight
I put one foot in front of the other
I found a special place
My sanctuary in all the hopelessness
A magical wood !
I stood in the light for a while
I could hear the birds singing
Squirrels scurrying up the trees
Twisting ivy climbing the branches
There the robin sat
Singing his sweet song to me
My eyes could see again
My feet could walk
The magical wood
Bought me to life again !

Autumn is a time of endings
but new beginnings too
A time to gather our strengths
Focus on our hopes and dreams
However bad it seems
Deep inside the trees and leaves
There's a scurry of life
Getting ready for the time ahead
Changing colours orange, brown and red
Glistening dew in the morning sun
Warmth and calmness in all the madness
Letting go of all our sadness
We have nature to guide us
Trees, birds, wildlife is all around
They give us strength and hope
To carry on each day and cope

Tomorrow will be better
Even if there are clouds in the sky
Hold your head up high
You will get by
Look all around you
When everything's blue
Go for a walk
Listen to the birds
Nature is true
Life is a roller coaster
An ocean, a river
A storm then the calm
Happy and sad
Good and bad
Happy times will come
Believe its true
Be in the present
The here and now
Don't worry about tomorrow
The moment will pass you by
Time does fly
