Barren Landscape

The barren landscape it once was
Now has craters and paths
The blandness it once held
Now has colors across the land
The barren landscape it once was
Is not barren anymore

But How

Your arms can reach, but how far? Your legs can run, but for how long? Your mouth can move, but who listens? Your heart can feel, but who cares?

How Serene

they reach to the clouds
They peer over the edge
The Mist and fog surrounds
How serene, how serene
How serene would it be?
If I took a step, how serene
How serene would it be?

I am friends with the shadows

I am friends with the shadows
I feel content and at peace
I can talk with the shadows
And they listen to me
I can walk with the shadows
I feel calm and at ease
I am friends with the shadows
The shadows in me

Turbulent Seas

Turbulent seas,
Down deep we go,
How I yurn to be free,
Deep down we go
Oh Let me breathe
Deep 'Into the, vo i d
'Let' me be at 'p e a c e'
Deep into the dark
I want to 'b e' at ease
Let my s a d n e s s decrease
Lift those who are deceased
Oh, turbulent seas.

On it goes

The flickering light in your eyes grew cold
And in an instant, like ice, they froze
You lit a match and watched me burn
The rising smoke from ash I arose
A blossoming garden starts to grow
My memory lives on, and on it goes

Who are we beyond the distance

Who are we beyond the distance
Beyond the ears that fail to listen
Amongst the shooting stars
That fall and burn through the sky
Lingering souls left alone in the dark
Meerly a scar to a sea of sharks
Thirsty for someone elses pain

Her broken chord

Her song rung out like a broken chord
Her voice now lingers, left, Ignored
Her willow weeps amidst the storm
Her arms grew tired, weak and sore

But her song rings on at last she's free
No longer weeps... The willow tree
The sky now breathes a stagnate breeze
Until she falls, upon on her knees

The sky now greets her silent pleads
Then drifts away, and returns her peace
Her song still sings... a broken chord
But at least she's no longer, left Ignored
