Someone Out There

I believe there's someone out there,
someone new for me to meet.
Someone out there, somehow, somewhere,
someone new for me to greet.
Someone special just for me,
someone to always treat me right.
Someone I'll know is meant to be,
someone I'll find quite out of sight.
Someone to answer most of my calls,
someone to someday sleep next to at night.
Someone to catch me if i fall,
someone to hug me if I feel fright.
Someone to get to know me,
someone in whom I can believe in.
Someone who looks inside to see,
someone to make love with over again.
Someone who will not back away,
someone to keep it real.
Someone who is willing to stay,
someone who doesn't run from what they feel.
Someone who never lies to me,
someone on an equal place.
Someone who with me will be free,
someone to touch my face.
Someone who might love me one day,
someone who can take that step.
Someone who will not make me gray,
someone who maybe overslept.
Just know someone I'm waiting for you,
and from that point its what you do.

Children of Mine

There are things that a child shouldn't see,
and what could life to a child even mean?
I know there are things that one should know,
and within time memories grow.
I try t teach to live with no regret,
and always remember and never forget.
As long as we learn from the things that we do,
so many things that I wish that you knew.
Always be close and hold it together,
even in the worst of weather.
stay close and hold on with all that you've got,
you'll make it through if you give it your best shot.
Just know that I love you and I always will,
keep your life interesting and be out for the thrill.

Breaking My Heart

Your breaking my heart once again,
as I wonder where your hearts been?
Left me here dwelling in pain,
tears that fell like poring rain.
My heart's tearing in two,
how could this come from you?
Thought you'd always care,
but couldn't find you anywhere.
Once again you've let me down,
wearing just another frown.
Feeling my heart breaking apart,
should protect it from the start.
Swollen eyes with foggy sight,
up again from crying all night.
Pain that will not go away,
hoping for a better day.
Stop these lonely tears of mine,
tell my heart things will be fine.
Make it better, help it change,
search for ways to rearrange.
Cure the broken, saddened sorrow,
make it easier to finally swallow.
Make it better if you could,
help this heart to be understood.

Hear Me

Wondering if he can hear me?
Does she even see my face?
Can he hear sounds from my heart beat?
Can he sweep her off her feet?
Does she know I love her so?
Does he know I watch his every move?
When will he come and take me away?
Can't she feel me watch her every day?
Will he talk to me?
Will she come close?
When love is real nature takes its place.
Nothing stops it at any pace.
Is love still thought of as fairy tales?
It move on and always prevails?
Sometimes in life we ask these things.
Next thing you know the telephone rings.
It's the voice we longed for in all these things.
A dream comes true no matter what you do. In our hearts we knew.

Beauty of White

She walks down the shore to the quiet beech,
She's looking for a hand in reach.
She dresses in the beauty of white,
Hoping what she's doing is right.
She wears a rose up in her hair,
Her arms are very thin and bare.
She hopes that she will do no wrong,
And she's been crying for very long.
She slowly drops down to her knees,
But yes she still absorbs the breeze.
She takes her rose down from her hair,
Gets up and walks out to somewhere out there.
To where you no longer can see her,
And walks to where the waves go above her.
Now that you can see her no more,
The waves begin to quickly roar.
Her rose comes back down to the shore,
The fine red pedals slowly tore.
They slowly drifted far away,
But they'll return another day.
For as of now it all is gone,
Yet it all shall return as dusk turns to dawn.

Amazing Things

Amazing things can come true,
just like the day when I met you.
I knew some day that we would meet,
then you'd sweep me off my feet.
Amazing how I never knew,
some day that I would be with you.
People change to make things right,
something out of mind out of sight.
So glad to know your meant for me,
my little blessing meant to be.
To say I love you is not too much,
although I tremble by your touch.
Deep inside I knew it was you,
I didn't know just what to do.
Now I have you and your mine,
and everything has turned out fine.
I'm glad to have you on my side,
there you sit all full of pride.
I'll never let you go you know,
as every day our feelings grow.
So amazing now is you and me,
it's something that is meant to be.

Love

Love is something not meant to be described
It's something that is sanctified
Not a word in life could ever explain
The way a makes a person insane
Love is something never be taken away
No matter what someone else may say
For life is only what you think of it
It's never ok to neither give up nor quit
We only live once in this lifetime
So wanting to be happy and free has no crime
So love the one's you've always known
And remember all the ways you have grown
Don't ever let one put you down
No need to cry or ever frown
Just love the one's who live in the heart
And remember that they are never far apart
Love is something for man kind
So keep in close and in your mind
It comes from the soul that runs in delight
It's every day morning, noon or night

Lost Childhood/Remake of Childhood

Childhood lost but never knew why,
many nights I had laid and I'd cried.
Where was Dad, what's wrong with Mom?
I always knew something was wrong.Mean spoken words with raging fists,
something nobody could ever miss.
How could she treat her kids that way?
I swore that soon I'd leave one day.
Abuse is never easy to take,
this I know by no mistake.
Couldn't leave my sisters behind,
someplace else for them I'd find.
I promised I'd never let them feel,
the things I couldn't believe were real.
Once I found that place they could go,
I'd go somewhere nobody would know.
It's bad enough they had to see,
all the things that were done to me.
Once we left we stayed away,
with very little left to say.
Later now that time has passed,
many questions never asked.
Now as a Mom I just don't know,
how someone could let them self just go.
Never could I strike my child,
that is something oh so wild.
All I can say is I'll never forget,
still wonder if she feels regret.

Love Me

Love me now, forever true,
This is what I ask of you.
I've given you my beating heart,
It's been there right from the start.
Have you loved as I have done?
As our souls collide to one.
You can never leave or run away,
For in my heart, you're here to stay.
If our love weren't true you'd tell me so,
Then run away as far as you could go.
But if you left I think I'd die,
Forever more in tears I'd cry.
You're my best friend you are my love,
As if your sent from up above.
As a gift I give to you,
A loving heart forever true,
For every day would seem like new,
These are things I tend to do.

A Friend

One life to share,
a forever friend to care.
A moment of truth,
live forever in youth.
To have someone to confide,
each others shoulder's you've cried.
Memories you hold,
even until your old.
To not be alone,
even now that we're grown.
Believe in me like I do you,
cause that's what best friends are supposed to do.
Sharing this life with someone you trust,
keeping it real, this is a must.
Don't look back and never regret,
and never live life with even an ounce of regret
