Friction

This skin on skin connection
sends me this sensation
The heat that emerges from our movement
has us feeling content
As sweat produces
The mentality of knowing
will continue to happen
for a long measure
of time gives us pleasure
so this feeling we’ll treasure
We go faster
then slower
We enjoy it to the maximum
Our faintness goes to its minimum
So we proceed
to do our deed
As our strength reduces
And the must of our rhyme produces
We clasps thinking
This was the wonderful sensation
of our friction

Persistence

Days go by
Weeks, months, even years go by
I fail every time I try
But I always manage to get back up
but the next time I double up
on my knowledge
Trying as if my life depended on it
Then I fail but I never quit
I never let it break my spirit
I know my bliss will be of good merit
I think of the positive
to forget about the negative
I gather all my might
Keep the prize in my sight
As I ride off into the night
To fight the glorious fight
That’ll get me a chance
to feel your soft hands
to see us prance
around a garden of flowers
to see us stand tall like the twin towers
but then like the towers
we fall together
Our love will never wither
The love we had for one another
Was so strong strong as ever
No one or thing could ever
stop us from being together
because days went by
months, even years went by
I failed every time I try
But I always managed to get back up
and I’d always double up
on my knowledge
Until that day
When I want all the pain to go away
I thought to myself
Are you worth my emotional health
I shouldn’t have to do this
For such a risk
You can break my heart
Right now your tearing it apart
What if in the end
I have to fend
you off me
What if you hurt me
Then I’ll be the one who wasted their time
I can’t do anything cuz you didn’t commit a crime
Don’t get me wrong
I’ve not yet given up on our love song
I’ve merely looked about my options
I am still on my mission
I cant never give up
Because wen I see you all my feelings erupt
for you
So I’m still gonna do wat i gotta do

Gold Child

Golden Child
your smile
lights up a room
turning a day of rain to a day of gloom
sweetheart
your mind
expands
no wonder why you’re smart
You learn more than what life demands
My dear
Your heart is so big
You’ll ease every one with their fear
People smile and laugh when your near’
Your sweet, your dear to my heart
Your beautiful as the sunrise eyes,
Creative as a work of art,
Warmer than a fire heart
combine and make you, you
No one can do the things you do
When you walk
Dirt stands up and walks away to let you through

Taking Lead

She was surprised to see her father
Then her parents eagerly planned her future
He was college
Mom wanted marriage
They argued for hours
It was the longest she was her mother n father
No one ask her what she wanted
It was her vote that was miscounted
They boxed her out
and made her pout
while they figured out
her next step
They were afraid of ruining their reps
She sat and listened
As they dictated her mission
She sat on the step
Because of them she wept
They talked as if she were still in the womb
So she ran into her room
She got a bottle of Tylenol
and her brother’s bag of rephnol
She got two handfuls
and stuffed her mouth full
she attempted to swallow
and got water to ease them down her throat which was hollow
She felt them slide down her interior
She thought she’d show the ones who claim superior
That were inferior
and she was indeed superior
She thought she’d have superiority
because she wouldn’t deal with the reality
She’d take the first escape
She’d didn’t want to wait
to see the mystics of faith
She wanted to go
her answer to waiting 3 months was NO
So here she lies
Where we can’t see her dazzling eyes
Her mom screaming Why
Why her baby
and why her grandbaby
She stays there motionless
breathless
Did she get what she needed?
No, what wanted?
She wanted to take lead
but is there anything for her to lead?

Remember

I remember when you packed up
and stacked the bags in the pick up
That night I curled up in a corner
I wore black like a mourner
I had dreams of us
You & ma got alone without a fuss
You held me and said daddy is here
and not going nowhere
There you cast away all my fears
When ever I feel no body cares
I remember and it gets me in tears
But it would never happen
No matter how much I pretend
But you know me
Better than any body
You mean to tell me
You never did anything wrong
You wasn’t there to sing a bed time song
All you did was never call on my birthday
All you did take care of us but hey
That’s nothing right
You think me & Joshua are nothing right
You never did nothing wrong right
NO
So you had to go
But you didn’t call me not even when I turned 6 years old
Now you acting like super dad
The thought alone gets me mad
You try to say if I don’t call you won’t call
So you think I care at all
What are you gonna do leave me
Walk away from me, It’s the reality
Go back where you came from
Because all you ever did was run
But I’m not going to lie. “Dad”
You wasn’t so bad
When acted like you
You was cool
You was caring, loving, funny, and understanding
That showed a lot to me
It showed me that you are a good person inside
You sometimes tend to hide
When you subside
What feeling are erupting inside
you mind
No matter what you say
Days from today
I will remember
The years I spent as your daughter
They are different
Daughter & Birth Child you hear it
Birth Child was when I would dream of you coming back
but you never tried to get in contact
Afraid of how I would react
Wondering I would attack
When all you subtract
me from you causing a greater impact
on my childhood
creating things I never understood
Daughter was when you taught me to dance
and when you took care of us
That’s why I’ll always give you a chance
For the good times
but I’ll always that about you all the time

Them

People rush pass you
I bet you don’t see them
and if you do they’re probably an error
an error in your sight
Despite, what you may think there’s another side
which holds...............
A side that is cold
There hatred, pain, unruly love unfolds
People there are different
They give a different treatment
They are distant
They are also down
They always wear a frown
Broken people walk freely around
The less spoken word is happiness
Please don’t call them depressed
It’s more deeper, stronger
It’s like a disorder of feeling empty
There’s never a reason to worry
because the nothing worse
It’s like a curse
They feel as if life is passing them by
They may feel like they want to die
so they cry, every chance they get, they cry
so you wonder why?
Why do they feel this way?
Why do they feel it every day?
My thoughts about why they feel this way?
Why they feel it everyday
is because of something that happened maybe long ago
something memorable, so memorable
they’re forced to know
but they can’t let it show
so quietly they cope
You’re probably sitting down
Watching them walk around
Wondering what’s wrong with them
There is nothing as crazy as them
Just remember
There is a place, not a town
Broken people walk freely around
The less spoken word is happiness
Please don’t call me depressed
It’s deeper, stronger
