A Night of Silence

As I lie in bed,
I hear nothing
I see nothing
And I feel nothing.
I feel empty,
I am scared,
I am afraid
I am ready.
This is a night of silence,
In which is ruined.
I pierce it with my screams.
I cut the silence with my tears,
With my pain
I try to stay quiet.
Whimpers from my bloody lips,
As I touch my heart
The spot where I hurt worse
Where pain has no end.
Where I want to stick this knife.
Not the wrist cutting
Or the gun to the head.
No, it’s a blade
A blade to my heart,
To cut off the pain
To stop the hurt,
To stop my fast hard breathing.
I pierce the skin
But then I stop,
I can’t go any further
Blood trickles down my chest
But I can still breath.
I touch my left breast
And I feel the blood.
I feel my pain draining
Draining from me,
As if I’m being cleansed.
I cry,
I sit,
I listen,
And I lie in bed
And I think.
I cleanse myself
Now once again
It’s a night of silence.
I feel right,
I feel strong.
I am ready for the new day.
Ready for the darkness
And ready
For a night of silence.

Dad

She sits in her room waiting,
Waiting for that man to come,
To come up those stairs and into her bedroom.
She listens for the creaking step,
That step tells her if he is coming to hurt her,
To play with his toy again,
To play with her.

As he comes up that creaking step,
She grips the long medal object on her hand,
And she waits in silence, and in tears for him to enter her room.
When he is at the top she sneaks,
Sneaks to a corner of her room and watches the door,
Watches for him to enter.

Finally the door opens, and there he stands,
She looks at the man standing in her doorway,
And watches him creep closer to her,
As he gets closer she grips that object harder,
And she jumped on that man,
Stabbing him the chest.

Finally it is over,
No more crying,
No more hurting,
No more rape.
Finally dad is dead
 He can't hurt her anymore.

Life

What is Life?
Why is it so cruel,
Yet so kind to us?
What is the meaning of Life?
And why is there Life?

Life throws many curves at us,
Both expected and unexpected.
How do you handle
All of Life’s curves?
Do you buckle down or stand strong?

What is Life worth?
Should Life be or not be?
Why did God create Life?
As all Life is
Life is needed and wanted.

In your Life,
What do you feel of it?
Do you feel you want Life,
Or like it is worthless?
It’s your Life, live it how you want.

As someone that has life,
I have tried to take it,
And not to have it.
That was the most horrible feeling,
Now I know my Life is worth living,
And so is yours.

What you do with your Life,
Is up to you.
You have control of it,
But please live your life,
Don’t do what many people try.

Life isn’t so bad,
You may think so,
But watch your Life,
Look at the good instead of the bad
Maybe what you see,
Will be a Life you want to live.

Life is precious
Don’t try to cheat it, you may get hurt.
So ask yourself this,
What good is in your life?
What you find
Will be something,
To live and love.
To live for, and to a life to love.

So don’t end your Life,
Live it to the fullest,
And look at the positive,
Not the negative.
One less person in the world
Means more unhappy people,
Which may lead to another loss.
So please keep Life going
With Joy, not death.

It's Okay

“It’s Okay”

It’s okay to live.
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to get angry.
It’s okay to be happy.

If your scared to live,
Don’t be, you deserve to live.
If your scared to cry,
Don’t be, everyone does.
If your scared to get angry,
Don’t be let it come out, don’t bottle up.
If your scared to be happy,
Please don’t be, or you won’t have a life.

It’s okay to share.
It’s okay to be hurt.
It’s okay to have fun.
It’s even okay to lie, even though you shouldn’t.
Because it’s all okay,
You can do it all.

If your scared to share,
Don’t be you could save a life.
If your scared to be hurt,
Don’t be, because it will only make you stronger.
If your scared to have fun,
Don’t be, because it will heal your pain.
If your scared to lie,
Don’t be, it can make someone smile.

If your scared to do anything,
Don’t be or you will miss life.
What’s life without anything
That’s okay?
Don’t be scared to live,
Or you will miss your wonderful life.

So don’t be scared,
Be alive and be well.
Remember, It’s all okay,
To do anything you want.
To chase your goals.
Just remember,
It’s okay to live.
