He Brings Me

"can you bring me my food"
i say, into the phone.
im too sick to stand,
i dry heaved twice already.
and im sorry,
for bothering you,
im sorry for taking up your time.
but he comes in,
and laughs at my state of despair.
and tells me i fumbled the bag,
and im so sick but i laugh too.
"i brought you some (?), 
is your water bottle full?"
its not, and he leaves to fill it up.
and the (?) is on my desk,
and i am warm in bed.
he's leaving it here with me.
just in case i need it.
and for a moment i am so
loved. i am so whole. 
i truly believe i will be alright.
