Walk From Cold Winter To Spring

The summer days have gone away
I am unhappy to start a new day
Along with the heat goes the happy times
Its time to do the sentence for my crimes

As I start my journey it looks grim and long
To complete it I'll have to become intelligent and strong
People say this part of my life is just a small thing
But for me it's a walk from Cold Winter to Spring

As the cold comes theres no place to hide
All the pretty girls have gone inside
No more warm nights, no more green lawns
As the cold demands it, my attention is drawn

As I'm on this cold road of destiny
I keep looking back at the summer times which used to be
As I continue on this lonely path
It seems to take all I have and a half

These Cold Winter nights come day by day
Why have the joys from last season gone away
Seems like I'm going from Jekyll to Hide
All the bad feelings in me found their way outside

As I continue my walk from Cold Winter to Spring
I look at the one who knows everything
I ask God, I say why me?
He says, this is what you need to see

He knows this road isn't pleasant to me
But sends me this way to leave what I am to become what I should be
It's the road of a boy becoming a man
The road to fulfill my life long plan

As the snow piles the road and come on the street lights
A smile comes to my face because I know the Spring coming is bright
Through I didn't choose this path and it really wasn't my thing
I was happy to take this walk from Cold Winter to Spring

I Wonder

I wonder if she knows
How i feel late at night
I wonder if she knows
I love her with all my might

I wonder if she knows
She is the one for me
I wonder if she knows
All I want is to fix what once could be

I wonder if she knows, I wonder
That my body walks the earth but my heart is 6 feet under
I wonder if she knows, I wonder
That since she left the love I feel has gone to slumber

I wonder has her love really pass me by
I wonder if i still catch her eye
I wonder if my dream will come true
That day I can tell her all I want is you

I wonder if she knows
Being without her is like a long walk in the cold
I wonder if she knows
Tears come to my eye when I see what I use to hold

I wonder if she knows
She is my day and night
I wonder if she knows
On a dark road she is my street lights

I wonder if I will stay alone
Or maybe one day she will come home

I wonder....

You know who you are
