Needs and Wants

I find myself surrounded and alone,
Writhing in agony yet to come.
Is it then, that the purpose of continuation,
Is simply to find a purpose?
And if so, with this appalling revelation,
Does the purpose slip away?
Stranded and immovable,
A cold vastness.
Desire, it seems, is unto itself,
Therefore finds itself unattainable.
As if holding water in its palms,
Inevitably it will all spill away.
The tragedy is in the basic need,
For we must hold that water still.
I find myself surrounded and alone,
Writhing in agony yet to come.
Still we will strive for dominance,
For we are told we must.
A self-indulged conviction of the soul,
Yet knowing that lie, does not make it false.
A manifestation of the mind,
That yearns to prove its existence.
As if all one must do is acknowledge,
And then so reality will bend.
Perhaps though, this is the truth behind the truth,
To become the arcane master of oneself.
Perhaps we just have not learned to contort,
Our palms to finally hold that water in.
I find myself surrounded and alone,
Writhing in agony yet to come.

The Creatures of Splendid Mediocrity

Can we admit to failure?
Are you capable of accepting defeat?
Everything works out in the long run,
So its fate that brought you where you are.
A series of mishaps,
Fumbling around in the dark,
Every unfinished sentence,
It all leads to you.
Convinced by the nature of existence,
You believe it to have been a design.
After all you are alive,
Are you not?
And whatever has led to your life
Must surely have been a direct course.
You cannot accept the notion
That you were a byproduct.
A fundamental flaw,
Fear not, we all have it.
This ridiculous notion of the perfect past,
That has brought all to be.
It’s from this irony,
On which your life is built,
That has taught you completeness,
Where you should have seen failure.
I ask you this;
When has perfection been achieved?
Know this truth,
As silence is my answer.
And since never achieved,
What is it then that has been won?
Settled for, is what you’ve done
Second place is where we fall.
What’s sad is that some know,
Indeed the best of us do,
But to explain this,
Borders on the impossible.
So in turn this cycle continues.
On and on and on
Forever lackluster in the conclusion,
That is never the one we want.
Dare you call me wrong?
I would love for this to be true.
And while the possibility exists,
The fulfillment is seldom at best.
Know this my weary reader,
You cannot keep the foolish notions of your past.
Look ever ahead for what you must do,
Please prove me wrong and take the next step.

Essentially Ether

The twisting of fate
O' these mortal coils,
When shall they learn?
Never is too soon.
It is that which is possessed,
From where power is gleamed.
So that those who have not
Shall remain to be employed.
Heed this warning,
O' potential proprietor.
He who would hold power eternal
Need in this, be covetous.
For if all have control
Then does it not cease to exist?
Nay, this the very cornerstone
Of which all is built.
So break your back,
Work and die under the sun.
Listen not to what I say
So that I may reign eternal.

All -Tao-

There is a Distant Plain where it all began
It lies in a realm beyond the concept of Man
Here, Nothing ends but all continues to begin
A place impossible to travel to but can be seen within
Here all Things remain separate united as One
Time is Endless, but there is None
It sits in a Distant dimension in space
An area that cannot be a Singular place
Somewhere you can Never go but you’ve been there Before
Only Fragmented you will go once more
It exists Nowhere & Everywhere at the same Time
It is Everything & Nothing, inaccessible in your mind
You're there now, though You will never Know
The Consciousness lies Dormant, Imprisoned in your bones
Between Material & Immaterial, it is the Difference
You shall cease to exist upon its Deliverance
Though Truly, You can never Die
Your brain will not exist, so You will not control Your Mind
Through these cycles, you’ve Experienced All the Life’s have to offer
You drank from Yourself upon discovering Water
There is no after life because Death is not real
That is a trick from this Place that only Now you can feel
And without Death, there can Never be Life
You will never Understand this until you enter the Light
Alive or Dead, You, Me and Every last little thing
We are all Part of the same Eternal Being
For this Revelation, You must relinquish Control
Because, your True-Self is something you Cannot Know

Depths

There exist a hand that moves the masses.
Pushing them to unwanted ends and divides them into classes
Like an old-world army they pit man against fellow man
Over minuscule affairs while they reap the land
It’s a sad world we’ve let progress
When compared to what he owns, a man is worthless
The value of a mere possession is something we’ve come to know
And the deepness of greed is what we now condone
