Thomas Smith Poem
It happened every dang year. I remember like it was yesterday. The day my best friend took his life away. Nothing can ever stop the pain. All the things we did together. Makes it easy to express my words. Now you are n a better place. As you walk right through the golden doors. Words don’t come close to how I’m feeling. I just express them with all my tears. I feel you looking down right at me. I try to show that I have no fears. We’ll meet again tomorrow, soon, or some day. The things we do will be so cleaver. To take me back to when I first met you. I will always remember, but forget you never.
