Mateo Writes Poem
Seed
I learned a lot from my past
And entwined into my future
Brought a mirror that reflects
My utmost gratitude and lessons
Like superior goods kept in a luxurious decanter
Walking by the Spirit and waiting to catch
the last train toward
what is to come
As loving and forgiving yourself
Are like a mirror soul
That sometimes leads to a tumultuous relationship
with indecorous perception
But it will grows in you
Just like a seed turning
Into a pulchritudinous tree

Mateo Writes Poem
We often forget those who remain
Focused on those whom we love
blinded by trumped-up stories of love
Intoxicated and bewitched
but thumb their noses toward us
And don’t appreciate everything we give
So cherish those people
who remained in your darkest
watched you in silence
Loved you from afar

Mateo Writes Poem
I have clouds over my shoulder that no one could ever see
Tangled web of lies and bruises on my knee
a turbulent sea without a shore
a well with unending hole
When will I reach the rainbow's end
When will this soul stop to pretend
saying those words that
"I can"
