William

When the love of your life is ripped from your chest
and the hate inside you grows stronger,
when the land you call home is stolen by a king
and your pain will not stand it no longer.
You rise upwards and onwards and fight for your land
for freedom you fight every foe,
the fields run red and ground soaks up tears
and onwards and onwards you go.
The killing of your love, your wife, your soul
was taken, so short you were married,
the brutal attack she had to take then,
but the worst part was when you carried,
her lifeless body up to her grave
the tears were running so fast,
that war was going to be her revenge
and tyranny alas would not last.
These lands were yours Scotland would be free
you fought with all men and your might
but alas they came, captured took you away
your death, you became a martyr, a knight.
you will always be in our history books
we take all our hats off to you
and we will remember for all time
when William Wallace rode through.

Demi

A pair of sandals on her feet,
a plaster on her knee,
a dirty little face so cute,
a smile that's just for me,
a little bothered that she is,
well a spider that she saw,
she hold's my hand so tightly,
but still she watches more.
A wonder to behold she is,
her eyes they follow you,
everything you touch and say,
everything you do,
come to me my little one,
sit upon my knee,
and i shall teach you all the world,
the world you are to me,
and when you are grown,
remember the special time,
when nanna played with you,
and your special time was mine.

You

Outside we sit together,i look at you and see,
your getting warm my love, your cheek is close to me,
a trickle of sweat runs down,i brush it with my fingers,
i taste it with my tounge, your taste stays there and lingers,
this part of you i hold and take you to my soul,
you are my life,my heart this of you i hold,
and when we hold each other together love we melt,
i love you my heart, this i have always felt.
Do not leave me lonely, stay with me always,
for you are me and i'am you for ever and a day,
let me feel your essence, let me feel your soul,
let me feel you close,my love you make me whole.

Listen

Swirling mists of distruction,
hanging over my brain,
tears falling down my cheeks,
seep in acid rain,
and claw like talons,
petrude my bleeding heart,
and razor like eyes,
look to tear me apart,
this nightmare of demons,
willing me to die,
i shout and scream, pray and cry,
this is the pain of a child being used,
this is the child being abused,
protect our children call out the truth,
an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Please

I sit here before you my sister by my side,
my mother has gone,my father's also died,
a piece of bread i'am asking, just to keep us fed
i love my sister so much, i dont want her dead,
i dont know why were here,is it something that we've done,
where is the water, why too much sun,
all our crops have gone,we are just a few,
god have mercy on our souls, help us please do.

My Lord

O god if you are in me,let me feel your warmth,
let me feel your presence,
let me feel your heart,
show me how to love,
show me how to care,
this my lord i ask,
god i know your there,
teach me compassion,
teach me how to forgive,
you are wonderous lord,
teach me how to live,
amen to you lord,
amen you are true,
no other idol is there,
my lord there's only you.

Thinking

I remember so well the crisp days of winter,
we would dress so quickly to get out in the snow,
with welly's and coats at the ready,
god it was such a long time ago.
The parks were filled with children and sledges
screaming oh my we had so much fun,
building snowman and fights with different size snowballs
and the hats were off, and the coats undone.
We did not feel the cold weather at all
all our senses belonged to the snow
I wish I could go back and re-live all that fun
pity it was so long ago.

Blackened Moor

Out to ride on blackened moor great thunder in the skies,
winds that touch and beat my face and rain that stings my eyes,
hallowed ground it is not wild spirits roam this land,
great wars that were fought when man was killed by hand,
the sword and shield was all they took great strength the battle raged,
all men fought for freedom the young fought with the aged,
to keep honour to save the land they fought and killed their foes,
and sometimes on nights like this you hear the cry of woe.
To battle men we fight for king we fight for us and kin,
the enemy must leave or die forward we shall win,
go banish them the land is ours forward we protect,
 fight with heart,with soul,with strength,this day we'll not forget,
and voices distant go once more and wind takes over sound,
and thunder you hear once more on this battle raged ground,
once more we shall hear the cries on raging nights,
and you shall hear the bitter war when men come out to fight.

Night Time

The snow was falling on solid ground
 rabbit looked on bright eyed,
fox didn't see her bobbing along
 so tonight she will survive.
Owl was hooting loud and clear
 waiting for his mouse,
 wondering where his supper was
mouse was safe in his house.
 Farmers chicken were fast asleep
 Fox had wandered through
 looking through the chicken wire
making plans of what to do.
The geese they heard, so made a gaggle
 the fox, the farmer spied
he raised his gun and took his aim
that night the fox he died.
The snow was falling thick and fast,
 That night on solid ground
 all was quiet once again,
 now fox was not around.

The Place

Let me take you to a land, sit my sweet and listen,
about dragons, and wizards, and fairies that glisten,
where the sun shines red,and the land so blue,
and raindrops so pink when they shower on you,
and you walk through this place, that kisses your feet,
and animals follow, they are longing to meet,
strange and gentle they follow your sound,
our sing attracts with the music around,
together we walk and take in the place,
and i look down at you and your little face,
but now we go home and wake from our dream,
and remember, and talk about all that we've seen.
