Fall Like Leaves

Apples don't fall far from the tree, and leaves aren't meant to leave the branches.
But pollen is carried far by bees, and leaves are often freed by chances.
No one can say how the wind blows, but we can oft say it dances.
What was meant to live on ground touches the heavens through wind's advances.
Leaves don't fall, they fly, and fate isn't fixed, it branches.
Take a chance be blind and fly.
You don't always need the answers.

A Little Hope

There's a magic in Connection,
a little joy we all enjoy.
There's a longing in Depression,
a little foil through which we toil.
There's a peace in being Lonely,
a little vice we can't release.
There's a longing to be Homely,
a little piece that leaves us weak.
There's a fear of any Changes,
a little terror we can dread.
There's a way to deal with Pain,
a little trap within our head.
There's a holding of Hands,
a little moment in the bed.
There's a laughing while we Plan,
a little balm to soothe the ache.
There's a hunger for Connection,
a little thirst i cannot slake.
