Nia Thatiah Poem
When they ask what i dream of when I'm grown
I don't lie, I simply say I don't know
I just hope that by that time I'll have flown
To the sky, past the limit i'll have gone
Education is the key, Lies
As work for Cs open your eyes
gave up long ago, boke the ties
To the sky past the limit i'll have gone
The tell us about talents, makes me sad
Because dedication isn't a factor blood
I try and give up, its not that I am bad
To the sky, past the limit I will have gone.
Seems the only way to go is the crime life,
But wo really wants to face the lows to those highs
a life of waiting for your clock to run out of time
To the sky, past the limit I will have gone
Maybe I live amongst the monks in the hills,
Maybe I become a sailor, I myself and the seas
Maybe I just let go, live a life pressure free
To the sky, past the limit I will have gone.
Then came the choice I had to make
Between money & prestige, for goodness sake
Guidance is what I need, my future at stake
To the sky, past the limit I will have

Nia Thatiah Poem
Within every soul, there is an sense of doubt
A shred of imperfection, some may say
A flaw in the circumstantial creation of man
A demon that brings out the best and worst in human kind
Twas a weapon used by army greats
Used by Hitler, Churchill and the dreaded Amin
Used to conquer, to Vanquish, to rule over the weak
Used for the suppression, oppression and silencing of the unique
Tis a spirit that keeps one far, far away
Makes one want to flee, to run, to hide
Makes grown men cry and scars young souls for life
Famously known as the grim reaper of hopes and dreams
But like all weaknesses, it comes with advantages
Like a compass, it leads away from danger
Keeps us away from the grasp of death
Like a sign, a signal before the storm
We view it as either an upper hand or a drawback
A means of success or a cause of failure
But make no mistake
It will forever be mankind's nature

Nia Thatiah Poem
Think about man but subtract the humanity
Wonder whether it will be an upgrade of a calamity
Well the time has come, for it is not a reality
The fall of man, the end of humanity
What's that I hear, you need some more clarity
This is a machine, that does everything in certainty
Evolved so much , that it does everything in independently
The fall of man, the end of humanity
This new machine has hunger that's unsufised
It can go unnoticed as it imitates mankind
But we don't seem to mind as it stimulates our lives
The fall of man, the end of humanity
Research and problem solving aren't like back in the day
We just key our problems in and a solution comes right our way
A click of a button separates you from knowledge from creation till date
The fall of man, the end of humanity
But since man will always be man
He puts the machine to as much work as he can
To solve his problems, right after it does a scan
The fall of man the beginning of mankind
Just wait till it finds out the problem is man
Then ,as it does, it comes up with a plan
To wipe man off the face of the earth as soon as it can
The fall of man, the end of humanity
And to solve the problem, what is a machine to do
Exactly what it will be given the keys to
Initiate a war, nuclear, so we devour ourselves as fools
The fall of man, the end of humanity

Nia Thatiah Poem
remember when we first went to see a film
Remember the first disk we bought, oh so slim
Remember when we first turned on that channel, not so dim
The zeal and zest of the movie life
They made us laugh to build our days
Made us cry to correct our ways
Made us sing along to show us the way
The zeal and zest of the movie life
It was by chance that we discovered fiction
We wore sheets as capes and run around no knowing friction
Refused walks due to the addiction
The zeal and zest of the movie life
Then, saw older brother watching a drama
We followed through to see unfolding of karma
The journey continued, dedicated as a farmer
The zeal and zest of the movie life
One day, walking in an a Sylvester fight scene
Thinking to ourselves, all my life, where have you been
More and more violence, something we'd never seen
The zeal and zest of the movie life
Then one day stumbled on the brains behind the brawn
The truth about the guy the guy who mowed the lawn
Uncovered what happened to the guy who made the call
The zeal and zest of the movie life
Mirror mirror on the wall
I am your father, not at all
Daily allusions, just like roll call
The zeal and zest of the movie life
They build our personality in every which way
With it we build a family with ones who follow the same lane
In them we have a safe space for escape where we have a say
The zeal and zest of the movie life
For the sublime storylines, we applaud
For the billions of emotions, we adore
For the sea of emotions, implore
The zeal and zest of the movie life

Nia Thatiah Poem
Alone
Afraid
In the dark
Can't see
Out of breath
Can't hear
Help me
Before they get here
Before they get to me
Save me
