Cheryl Leath Poem
We have choices in later life.
However, we have inheritance at birth.
Lillian's son gave a brief reminder of this at a brief chat one day after her passing.
We are given an inheritance of our family.
We do not chose them nor their behaviors brought to the table, so-to-speak.
Cherish your family even if you have to disagree.
Your family will disapppear one-by-one.
Cherish your family.
Richard and I understand our inheritance.
Know your inheritance!

Cheryl Leath Poem
I talked to him but kept my eyes turned away.
I did this with everyone I met.
It was a habit for me, I thought.
Little did I know it held significant meaning!
Our eyes are the pathway to our soul.
I did not want anyone to see the real me,
The bad person I thought I was;
Negative feelings, thoughts, actions...
Were hidden if no one looked on my eyes.
The physical body has feelings, but the soul goes so very much deeper with feeling!
It was the last thing that was mine that no one had seen!
I had to hide the pathway to my soul.

Cheryl Leath Poem
We are given one special day in our lifetime;
A celebration to be shared with family and close friends.
Whether one likes to acknowledge it each growing year,
It is not to be ignored.
It is the day you were given LIFE;
The most wonderful gift of all!

Cheryl Leath Poem
While I walk, visions are in the distance, looming at me,
Appearing to be other than what they really are.
Closing in on them they are the normal objects in my every day world.
While walking through the last five years of my life, a vision has been in front of me.
I am invaded by these visions cause the are not true form!
Deception should be their name,
'Cause deception is their game!
And oh, they do it so well!
