Happy Birthday Pablo Picasso

In a riot of colours using brushes with valour,
Many movements he started devoid of pallor.
From a town called Malaga,far off in spain,
Pouring his heart out,unloading his pain.
What a journey he started from conformity parted,
To paint till the last,until he departed.
Many have aspired and wanted to be,
Including your's truly,I say why not me?
From erotic nudism to new found cubism,
His loss to the world left a wide open chasm.
How God made him great,I never could fathom?
But thats the way I guess God wanted to make him.
Although the years rolled and went passing by,
Another painters yet to reach for the sky.
I'm telling the truth and not telling a lie,
I'll love only Pablo until that day when I die.
I know he had friends,some straight and some gay,
But all I want to say today is....Happy Birthday.

PS.It was Pablo Picasso's B'day on 25/10/09 and I dedicate this poem to this
mentor and inspiration of mine.

Mountain Maiden

Desolate near a mountain top,a maiden sighing high;
While floating gently above the ground,
Clouds went tiptoeing softly by.
Beside this sierra tall and steep,
Yonder where the insects creep;
This angels eyes now beckoned:
I clambered up the slippery side,
Not waiting for one second.
A confetti of butterflies,were making way on wing;
The maiden now opened her eyes,when a lark began to sing.
Beneath some trees,the rustling leaves;
Were conferencing just in murmur,
This heart began to pound so fast,it seemed so full of fervour.
Now stars came out and brightly shone,
They danced along my way;
My woman now with song and dance,
Had woken out of slumber;
A sign to mean the time had come,
To know we're two in number.
I smiled upon that lovely face,
So full of joy and feminine grace.
We made love now,like two so skilled;
A night it was with pleasure filled.

Desire

Oh beloved how my heart aspires,
To love thee more,thy soul entire;
This shattered heart,once more on fire:
A distant dream.....my sole desire.

Mont Blanc? Your Right To Write !

You’ll  trip on this mountain,
 using its ball point or fountain.
 And in less than a wink it will make you to think,
of a myriad ways to using your ink.
A star black and white, not shining and bright,
Trusted for excellence, it compels you to write.
From the crack of dawn, till late into night,
Makes you keep writing, till you get it just right.

Satan's Waitin

Unwanted in Heaven, most wanted in Hell,
He’s the one to whom your soul you sell.
Right from creation, the onset of time,
The bane of mankind, a cartload of slime.
What makes him outsmart those playing their part?
Is he an upstart with an accurate chart?
Using his mind and most tempting of ways,
Never gives up till the end of your days.
Theres only one defence, we all know that’s true,
And that is for God, to truly love you.
Anything less and lifes in a mess,
From the womb to the tomb;
Its some game of chess.
We humans are one lot with a whole lot of weakness,
The ideal group, for old beelzebubs sleekness.
Without a doubt its God’s greatest desire,
To outwit this charlatan and forked tongue liar.
Prayer is the one thing from which you never must tire,
Your ticket to paradise, escape from the fire.

Goodbye Mamma

Although you never knew it,my LOVE was always there;there were many who did tell you,I
was a son who didn't care.But lifes a funny journey,some parts are good and bad;your
passing without warning,has truly left me sad.I'll pray to God to give you,all the LOVE you
hadn't here,lets hope we meet in HEAVEN......so I'll see you MOTHER Dear. ~ Princefreakasso

Your broken hearted son PRINCE!

Mother decided to die without saying goodbye,didn't give me the opportunity;to shed a single
tear or cry.

My mother passed away a short while back and I was too late for her funeral.Just got to put
some flowers and light some candles at her grave.Let's hope the good Lord blesses and
keeps her until we meet again.

The Racehorse

In equine racing they always say,
You hope to win when you make your play;
Off course as you know,it's the horses that show,
They're the only ones to make their hay.
With no help from the divine my guess could be as good as thine,
For doesn't our quadruped take a million fools,
For a ride not individually, but at a time?
Never known to run quite true,
All handicapping techniques never seem to do.
Yet it always finds it's friends,
Poor battered punters,trying to make amends.
Wagering on them are millions spent,
To get you returns it was never meant.
This sport of Kings will carry on,
But as king of this sport.....You could never be DON!!!

Matrimony

Is wedlock the true route to all conjugal bliss,
Nuptial excitement that starts with a kiss?
Or is it the halter after the altar,
That threatens to fetter and make life not better?
The fondling and cuddling and nights of long snuggling,
Changed overnight to ones, of alcohol guzzling.
A churlishness now in the partner is found,
From a beloved spouse to an obnoxious bloodhound.
She a fabulous cook,now sports a grumpy old look;
He's turned from intimacy to reading a book.
Love and coquetry has come to an ebb,
Finding affections in a new kind of web.
Monogamy turns to Polygamy slowly,
And perhaps doing things even more lowly?
From celibacy to intimacy and words we can't shout,
Now their connubial contact lies down and out.
They denounce and renounce and have their say,
To begin a life in a new kind of way.
Leaving it all to their legal belief,
Divorce now brings in,some kind of relief.
But where it will lead is anybodys guess,
For the ball is now rolling and lifes in a mess.

Time Moves On

I do not wish myself to please,
Neither do I want to tease;
Time is something you cant freeze,
We've both left behind poor SOCRATES.

Naughty,Naughty Boys!

Are'nt boys childish,downright escapist?
Feigning gentleness,humour,innocence.
Justifying kind,loving mollycoddling,
Now on parents:qualities rare,
Surely tolerable....using visible words....
Xcacerbated,yammerous ---Zany!
