Sarah-Louise Boozer Poem
Little girl, how you glow,
How much love you have, your never truly know.
As your godmother I promise, I will always help you grow,
Forever by your side,
That’s all you need to know.
My love with never dwindle,
My feelings will only grow,
For I promise you my little princess,
I will never let you go.
Spread your wings in this wide world, and follow all your dreams,
As this my darling is your time to really set them free.

Sarah-Louise Boozer Poem
That morning I woke, just a normal day,
Shower running warm,
Ready for a new day.
Early morning team catch up, tills prepared,
Door unlocked, and they enter with their glares,
In they come, one by one.
The usual faces great me,
The daily moans and groans.
Lunchtime is here, and peace descends,
The ever flowing footfall of people is coming to an end.
Then in you enter, strong and tall,
Your at my desk, just before I fall.
A gun you hold, right at my head,
Terror takes over, I think I am dead.
You look at me with a darkened stare,
Your words so clear, yet full of fear,
You took the money and ran away,
You ruined my life on that day.
The years you took, I simply cannot forgive,
The person I became, I reverted to being a kid.
You broke me, I crumbled,
You made me feel like I was dead,
You changed my life forever and are forever in my head.

Sarah-Louise Boozer Poem
Once there was love,
Until you got what you want,
A holiday of fun and then it was gone.
You broke away, with only thoughts of your own,
No compassion for me, or how we had grown.
You left me with child, and walked away,
No care in the world and no intention to pay.
You wanted your way, no baby at all,
But left me nothing and wouldn’t answer my calls.
The pain you caused,
The loss in me,
But you were to busy with her to see.
You moved on with life,
Not a care in the world,
You told me your struggling, but nothing prevails.
You noticed my weakness,
And then you approach,
Knowing I’d buckle and let you in close.
I knew about her, but yet you still wanted to meet,
Baby now gone, you think you have the world at your feet.
I’m here when you want me,
How stupid am I, just second place in the corner of your eye.
She will find out one day soon, the true colours you hide in the corner of your room.
One day you will find no corner to turn,
No one to help you and be by your side,
You ruined everything in the blink of an eye.

Sarah-Louise Boozer Poem
You brought me in, and let me grow,
You allowed me to love, even though you knew you would go.
Bonds were made, and taken away,
A small child’s love was just whipped away.
I miss that baby more than words could say,
The smile and fun I miss nearly everyday.
You are gone and that is fine,
Removing that baby is what’s taking me time.
A love had grown, beyond your own,
But you don’t see, you have now left me alone.
