Broken

The heavens must have named me broken
Since every part of me seems shattered
Be it my bones, my heart or my memories.

I faintly remember how it started
'Cos I'm now a slave to amnesia.
But my fragments reminded me, how I let a wolf in sheep clothing into my life.

He did act as a knight
And saved me from men that lurks around at night.
I fell head over heels for him,
I gave him my heart
But he crushed it with no remorse.

He played golf
And make my body holes for his golf ball,
I heard my bones crack with every single hit,
I cried overnight -
Till he hits my head and made the hospital my refuge.

I'm still the woman
With 306 bones,
Shattered memories
And a broken heart.

A Moment of Silence

A moment of silence
tells the untold tales -
The screams of the soldiers on battlefield
As they risked their lives
To defend their father's land
With their sweats mixed with blood,
Their feet danced to the dreadful tune of land mines,
They fed on the scent of burning sulphur-
Their body drenched in rain of bullets
And an ode to the ground
That kissed them to sleep.
