Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
we may be
in different cities
but as long as
we are under the same moon
then i know…
we still have a chance

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
my family tree haunts me,
a imagine i’ve held since a child.
unable to escape and become your own,
stuck in toxic love to only find out it was wrong.
breaking free has become truly whole,
i found love, that healed my soul.
showing me no pain and no harm,
to find out i was raised wrong all along.

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
detachment
as you detach,
i fasten.
loving you,
you grasp me
scared,
to love

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
Consumed by the constant rolls that play
Developed so well, recorded so well
Chasing the aroma that gently caresses the keys of the grand olfactory organs
Sinking into the thoughts that catch me when I’m melting
i remember the tight grip that you’ve imposed on me
The grip imposed on me
Yet I want to sift through
Entangled by the loose strands I can’t help but to make vulnerable
The sway in your tongue that rolls tones so heavy
Leaves me tender
Such fervor unfolding itself, the chests it lays on
Ethanol giving shoves until the words rupture into your gaze
Listening for more in hopes the shower could saturate me again
Hopeful and tender, I immerse you in ego
Later washing away everything that froth before our eyes
what would you call us

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
Your femininity/masculinity attracts me;?
Your steady strength supports me;
?Your tenderness sustains me;?
You’re the perfect love for me.

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
the end of the world
if it was the end
where would you be
can i make you happy
give more minutes
you and me
breathe
cry through it
i was and
you were
happy
the end of the world

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
she’s not just a woman,
she’s my home,
my rest,
my heart,
and my safe place.

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
through the darkness of love,
i found you
so sweet yet so pure.
yearning
your distance pulls me
closer,
i knew,
i loved you.
estrangement was who i used to be,
you have shown me
healthy attachment,
authentic fondness and
adventurous intimacy,
two have made one.

kissing your neck,
your rosy lips
a leg pardon,
i kiss again.

Katelyn Kuykendall Poem
sometimes the pain is awful;
i smell you as if you were next to me
missing every part of you
your amazing features
your soft voice
i miss you more and more each day
one day the pain won’t be so bad
maybe i’ll move on or i’ll be with you again
whatever happens i’ll forever be grateful for each and every moment with you.
the best experience i’ve had
