I think about you
All that is lost
Once true
The time between the seasons
I lie in bed
As the disturbing memories
Fill my head
As time fades
Dark to light
Cold to warm
All my fears begin to swarm
The time between seasons
I look around
And realize
You were the cause of my downs

My love all the same
Strong
Indestructible
Like superman
To cryptonite
You destroyed
You destroyed the indestructible
All I wanted
was for a dad
You end goal
Was to make me sad
You hurt me
Like everyone else
You never heard
My screams for help
My pleading for love
My yearning for affection
You just me as a weapon
A card
To make other disregard
The pain they wanted to cause
The day you never came
My love all the same
Destroyed
Abused
Never again
Will I feel that love
Unless
It comes from lies
Lies like you
that rip up insides

All I wanted
never came true
I trusted you
Loved you

Fill my brain
You were the cure to my pain
The medicine of my brain
Little did I know you'd cause me pain
The way you talk
Once a comforting sound
Now no longer
So profound
The sound of your voice
Brings me pain
As the memories fill my brain
All the trust I gave
Resigned
You will never
Be on my mind
