Stop Lying

There is a saying that is well known, and If I said the first few words you could recite the next 10. STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES, BUT WORDS WILL NEVER HARM ME. A common childhood misconception chant meaning hurtful words cannot cause any physical pain and thus will be ignored or disregarded. But do broken bones really hurt worse than a broken heart from the words of another neighbor? A broken bone can be fixed in a matter of 12 weeks to a significant degree, but a heart can only deal with so much damage then it falls apart. As if someone is taking their hands and reaching down the throat of the broken and pulling out each individual piece of the shattered heart then using everything they can to put it back in place. A broken heart can not be put together like a puzzle. Your body can deal with a lot of damage. Broken bone after the other, but once a heart is overwhelmed there is no going back. Pills popped after one another, not reducing the pain at all. Causing so much stress to continue to be normal. That girl you see in the halls, she has scars physically and mentally. Abused by her own thoughts and kicked by her own actions. Struggling to get out of bed without having to deal with her own, reducing her significance. Throws on some clothes and the pitch-perfect mask that she continues to wear, despite the fact that it does not fit her description. Carries the weight of her family disappointments on her shoulders. No matter what she does she is always in the wrong. That sounds like more pain than a bone can ever bring. But that is not all. That boy you see working hard for the little money he has. Trying everything he can to support his family. Sounds pretty normal so far. But without digging deeper into the minds of the well known we could never imagine the pain that he is in. Making mistakes and another. Not being able to tell anyone due to the fact that he WILL get discriminated against. Throws off his own mindset. He strives to be his best, but maybe his best is not the best in people's eyes. He gets constantly reminded that he should be the one to hold everything together. He should be the one responsible, but what if that is not the case. What if our brains cannot support the fragments of information that is getting thrown into it each and every single day. And to top it all off he still thinks he is worthless. Even if people see his worth. Being buried into the bottomless pit of his own conviction he can not bear it anymore. She cannot bear it anymore. Is there a way to stop the overwhelming truth of the broken? Pull back the curtains and open your eyes, people falling in love without having a clue what is going on, that is the heart being taken and waiting to be shattered once more. It is like a drug nor less than love or the crack of fear that continues to thrive through the hearts of a person. The fear of getting released out into the open. The truth is uncovered and once more being found. No, hearts can never be completely fixed and can never be cured. Unlike bones. If we were to protect something you would use a stronger material to reduce the cause of breaking. What do you think ribs are for. If a broken bone is worse than a broken heart you have never really looked into someone's eyes while they were in pain. Them wanting to continue to feel good, but can't because they will cause even more broken people to grow. Expanding the ever-living virus hiding behind the dark eyes of the scared. Living among us and we don't even know it is killing the sick and tired. The weak.

So do not tell me words will never harm me, that was a lie from the start.

Falling

Rolling down the hill
Ending up nowhere
Falling through the tunnel
With loves affair

Never ending feeling
Time to slow down
But where do you go
When you are found

Lost with no direction
In love and hate
Found nothing but reaction
Nothing but fate

Down deep in love
With no reason
Seeking hate
Within freeing
Cold weathers
As you are falling
In a field of heathers

Her

Fear of dreaming
Is what she does
Falling in the pit of beyond
Carrying the wait
Of the lost and forgotten

Doesn't know how to feel
Building up a castle
With guards
Protecting the lonely
Rose of the heart for she is lost in

Blocking out
The noise of people helping
With words
Only seeking for actions

Gone with the wind
But not the wind
The souls who haunt her
In her dreams
For she fears of dreaming
That is her ‘Passion’
