Scotched Flower.

The sun is high, high in the harmattan season
The easterline wind withered the petals of love...

I clasp my chest on the grip of blood-cough
As is cosmic rumble upon the heart core
Without a pull to the earth surface...

Anguish and solitude my face thrilled-
The rivelries are all gone, gone along with
The hand straps across high hips, the intricate
Smiles with freshened breath, and
The beaming eyes searching another for meanings.

Now the heart bleeds, bleeds unbridled-
For the flower stood, pale and shrivelled
Brown and unwanted, and like
Hindsight at twilight-moment
The truth stared glaringly at my face:

The love of a stanger is nothing
But a diamond in the rough.

A Gallary

In search of greatness,we reclined in this forest_
In a world holding many lives,
Playing green with wet land.

We refuse the other world
Stretching one's legs on a couch
Squatting before this, robbing shells with kernel oil:

A world of mother hen
Tapping earthworm from dry land;

A world of stony path,
grey hair on fresh born;
On fresh born;

Of withered flowers and of ashes,
Of polar region in winter...

A galleon has brought wild berries from the sea:
That leaves the mind with sepsis.
We in gallantry and in enameled gait
Have taken a handful for washing mouth
And another to prove our higher birth,
Having the sun in our bosom

Days have past, boils are broken,
Leaving us in a stuck,
And the serum from the doom
Remind us of where we missed the footwalk.

Cryptic Calls

CRYPTIC CALLS:
i
The night called out to him
A man of plane fleet
Gloved in illusion of machete and strength
To beat out from the web of sleep
And answer the howling cryptic calls:

Cryptic calls of hooting owls and chirping crickets
Cryptic calls with lurid eyes of a marauder
A marauder in the parapet of silence…

The chameleon has changed its colour
The cloud refused giving out dew
And the moon (in monocle) beat down on the glimmering grasses

To forewarn him of the hatching egg
Bearing horn as fang
Bathing with fire…
Ii
He heard the sound but did not see the cryptic step drawing near
Yet another proof that the pearls have to be forgone
But will man’s weakness play low on him
To forfeit the fishes in the hooks-
The Fishes renting net
 He has gone out for:

shattered cries in the air
Echoes down the river stream,

The forest will tell of the glees
Of the meat that got a meat
Who went out for the fish;

Broken bones and splashes of blood
Wanton break of breath-

Had it been a crocodile
Joy of death not to have taken a dilatory step
Along the verge of the smothering weight…

Iii
He galloped him down a whole-

Termites crying for no crump
Vultures for no corpse
People for no man-

One has taken the joy of all
With community answering another cryptic calls

But who born the devil -
The spider with million hands
To lay cobwebs on the road
That they may not see the pregnant python at the river bank.

Solly Our Love

Flesh to bone, lets solly our love
And clad our apples in green leaves.

The river that brought us together
The milk of our breasts, yet flourishing
Shall not dry up in brimming season-

The snail wet the ground along its path,
Yet no sand follows it to its shell-

Our love shall be drunk with revelries
But our virginity shall bear no umbilical cord-

For the night preens before standing mirror
The synthesizing owls mewl their spree
And the chirping crickets tie together their wings-

So why should we not solly round bonfire
And tincture our love with ecstasy…
