Habiba Yunusa Poem
Neocolonialism
I fell in love
It cost everything
The moment I lost myself
I've heard of wars were people take all you have. The ones you love, The things you like and sometimes even normalness and identity. What does it feel to ache to be normal to be comfortable. Things to be perfect... So that your mind will be sane.
I am dumb
I accept that
Like an illness with no cure
I know how it feels
When I don't know where it will be shot right here
Ohhhh
Too much traumas
Only to realise am on stage
Maybe a comedian
What do these producers want to watch
Hmmm
I am fooled
If the world was one billion
They will tell me there is no life.
If I gave a dream
They will destroy me
An idea
Cost a person
My own is theirs
They steal mine in gazillions
And give me rubbish... A handful and that is the worst love.

Habiba Yunusa Poem
I feel my voice roaring
Thousand feelings soaring
I feel your voice breaking me
Your anger tearing me
I don't understand what your saying
At a time am doing
I am feeling your words changing me into a perfect being
Your noise making me feel thousand connection
I feel languages pouring
psychology roaring
when you say don't
I keep on trying
My dear portal
I feel myself with gazillion voices of my ancestors

Habiba Yunusa Poem
She smiles no matter how hard.
Feels the beauty no matter whats tough.
This is a world of success, no rhythm.
No villain, no wolf, no violence.
I want to soar in this place.
Right in the veins of my mind. I feel it.
I love the seas filled to the brim.
With words that can change the world

Habiba Yunusa Poem
Dear before
I am on a debate
You tear me so hard
feels like a boxer punching
with each punch I feel your scorn
but I feel emotions roaring
I feel anger pouring
one more
one more
one more strength
no way
one
one more try
breaking
one more
one more tears
rising
oh right am feeling, voices, dares and amrising
one more
one more punch
if I face you
tell you
fight you
win one more time
done when am done
but to fight you dear past
tell you I will break you
fight you
I need to be free of looking at me that way
before
oh I get it
am hurting, breaking, in pain
but I'm winning
feeling...

Habiba Yunusa Poem
Ladies and gentleman
Adjust your chairs and look .
From the window into the world
As I take you on an adventure.
Of which the eyes cant ever see the ending
Or what the mind cant ever fathom.
History open its palms
so we may read between the lines .
on the sands were trod upon
a noble man once lived.
he was perfect, he was strong, his mind was filled with knowledge
humans cant ever read in the books we had.
and he suleiman smiled amused by her speech
and that was the Quran talking on his love for bilkis
9 And that was sueim strong and agile, brave and a warrior
Prancing in the golden dust and galloping into the orange sun
You want to take your minds on a toll
Then dear world listen with no cough
So I leave you to think of riches
Higher than mount Everest could ever be

Habiba Yunusa Poem
I've been walking,
Perhaps a gazillion rides.
Feelings chanting why I became a solo.
Words couldn't describe who I was.
I wanted the world to give peace,
The world gave happiness back.
I begged the world for hope.
It gave me courage
And now I smile so heartingly
Laugh so beautifully
Hear so daintly

Habiba Yunusa Poem
And the last they said belonged to the best.
From the light reflecting on a diamond.
I mean when it separates into directions.
Just like my neurons bursting.
Like beautiful forms of colours
changing every vision, every taste, every smell, every feel.
Shouting sensations from a broken heart
freedom bursting right where you put that touch
Just like freedom, true happiness...
Is everyone getting what I mean.
