Er Ko Poem
Such hideous tyranny,
My eyes, betraying my essence-
Two lone tears gather and fall
down the sides of my face.
Voice cracking, Jazz notes.
My skin, so full of secrets
Buried, crowbar wrenching it open
Desolation, in spite of myself
So, so, stupid
so, so, alive
so unbelievably, unimaginably, unfeasibly,
existing.
All the time.

Words mean more at night
We say to each other, 11pm.
Were said by him.
How elusive, that night.
so potent in my head,
but what happened?
Who knows now:
it’s gone from my head.
God, i want to be loved
the way i love his music.
“I’ve never ever had
a smile plastered on my face
from music before”
he says.
His voice is so good
the singer and the love(d)
