"Cause Eddie tried to fly, mama
And then he broke his arm.
That's the reason why, mama,
A scream gave you alarm."
Said mama, "A catastrophe!"
"Too late," she whispered back,
"'Round three o'clock did Eddie jump.
Oh, an' then he went stone black."
Poor Eddie, trying to fly,
Here's a lesson for us certainly;
Eddie shouldn't try to fly
Or he'll cause a c.a.t.a.s.t.r.o.p.h.e

Amber Pierce Poem
I don't know much about lies
But I know this much is true,
That the key to my heart
Belongs to you.
Cause in the dark of the night,
It would always be your light
That brought me to a new day
I may have never knew.
And when the storms came
The sun became your smile,
Even though the skies were gray
You were shining all the while,
When the other people turned away
You looked at me and dared to say,
"You'll no longer be out here all alone,
Cause I'll be with you."
Even though I wasn't perfect,
Even though I wasn't smart,
You looked past all of those faults,
And saw straight into my heart.
And even though I was so worthless,
Even though I was the one to blame,
You didn't even care at all,
And my troubles washed away in the rain.
And when the storms came
The sun became your smile,
Even though the skies were gray
You were shining all the while,
When the other people turned away
You looked at me and dared to say,
"You'll no longer be out here on your own,
Cause I'll be with you."
Yeah!
My pain is gone
My heart is new,
And I feel happy
Cause I am with you.

I've walked the path of life
Many times in my long past,
And I have some words to say to you,
Just in case they are my last;
I love you and I want you to know,
That even though we seem far apart,
No matter if you forget about me,
You'll always be here in my heart!
I want to let you know that I regret
Some things I've said to you,
The hurt I have made, the traps that I've set,
If I could, all those things I'd undo.
Goodbye, goodbye and goodbye once again,
I was so happy to know you as a friend,
Through the good times and bad I've made it along,
Only because you were helping me to be strong,
And if I die there's just one thing that I want you to know,
If snow would make you happy, I'd be glad to be the snow.
I'll be the wind that whispers softly through the trees,
I'll be the sunlight that shines on the ground,
And if you ever hear a wolf howl to the moon,
You can somehow know that I'm still around!
And you'll always be here in my mind,
I'll never leave the thought of you behind,
Even though hell's the place I may pass through,
If these are my last words, they are for you;
Goodbye, goodbye and goodbye once again,
I will always be with you until the end,
Through the good times and bad you will make it along,
Cause if I become a spirit, I'll help you to be strong,
And if I die there's just one thing I want you to be,
That one thing is for you to be truly happy!
