The Feeling of Getting Lost In a Book

In this modern world of hustle and bustle.
When I hear the pages of a book, rustle.

At the end of the day when everyone is gone.
In the darkness of the night when I feel alone.

When in a hectic routine I want the ease.
Getting lost in a book is the only source of peace.

A book is not silent it does speak and talk.
It writes on the board of mind with a quiet chalk.

From all the vexations of life, it gives you escape.
Help to re-build your senses and your attitude to re-shape.

Indulging in a book nourishes both soul and heart.
And you can give your day a fresh new start.

It is a gateway from this cold world of brutality.
And entering peacefully into the world of tranquility.

The feeling is far better than a peaceful nap.
It is as comforting as your mother’s lap.

I can say about myself not about any other.
A book is my second mother, A book is my second mother.

The World Is Full of Snakes

The world is full of snakes.
Don't trust all the handshakes.

The sadness doesn't let me sleep.
and disparity keeps me awake.

Standing alone needs a steely will.
It’s a roller coaster, not a piece of cake.

You are a man, so be brave.
Keep on a smile, no matter real or fake.

Hug yourself and calm your heart down.
love yourself, and forgive your mistakes.

Hold yourself when everyone leaves, my dear
you’re macho, you're valiant, you just need a break.

Good Morning Princess

Princess! The smile of your angel face may never depart.
Sweetheart! wake up and give your day a fresh new start.
Your beauty and charm God can no longer exalt.
You are a precious queen, with a diamond heart.

Till you do not open your eyes, how dare the Sun can shine.
You can turn the waters into delicious wine.
I wish I could forever call you mine.
Because you are really a masterpiece of Divine.

You are the sunshine of my life and pleasure in dismays.
You are sweeter than sweets and more luminous than the first morning rays.
You ignite my thoughts and make my imagination blaze.
The reason for my smile and the light to my dark days.

Every day, you are the first thought coming to my mind.
The only person, I see, who has no axe to grind.
Loving when beside me and praying from behind.
You are unique, and there is no one of your kind.

Listen! Don’t fret over the past and worry about the things.
You are more valuable than a lot of inherited rings of the kings.
C’mon conquer the sky with your powerful wings.
The saddening autumn is gone, Now, there are springs.
For you, everywhere are springs, everywhere are springs

Life Is Much More Than the Teen Age Love

Life is much more than teenage love.
Ever noticed your mom daily running the stove?

See your dad going to the job, which doesn't please him.
When it was your birthday, and his boss didn't release him.

How he requested from him, and how he was denied.
How he made excuses to you and then at least he lied.

See that little child who doesn't have a childhood?
Who works from dawn to dusk in your neighborhood?

How he stretches every nerve to get him the food.
How humble he is when his master becomes rude.

See those who cannot even fancy success.
The amenities you have are not in everyone's access.

So, my dear be yourself and let your smile stay.
Be a source of light and throw your sadness away.

I knew it was over

I knew it was over when I started waiting more,
Talking to me became to you just like a mundane chore.

I knew it was over when your texts got shortened,
Our fights became usual, and I kept feeling frightened.

I knew it was over when you found another choice,
How happily you told me about his compliments twice.

I knew it was over when you started getting distant,
I tried holding on the rope, but resistance was resistant.

I knew it was over when you began to disappear,
The moment I feared was suddenly near.

I knew it when reassurances fell flat at times,
Hollow words, redundant phrases, and overused rhymes.

I knew you were gone, even when you were very near,
Presence means nothing without love, without care.

I knew it was over when your eyes lost their spark,
The distance kept on growing, leaving its mark.

I knew it when with you, I felt so alone,
I had said you Goodbye long before you were gone.
