Picture Perfect
She wakes up every morning
Makes him breakfast and his coffee
Packs his lunch and folds his laundry
Picture Perfect
Sends him off to work with a kiss upon the cheek
Tells him that she loves him
Even though her heart is weak

She puts her makeup on, sure to cover every bruise
Behind the lens, all is well
No one wiser to the abuse

What role will I play?
Rambling thoughts, pacing around
My mind is ghost, never to be found
Today is great! My soul will blossom
Oh no, never mind, I'm back to rock bottom
Highs and lows
Excitement and woes
Will this ride ever slow down?
My life is a circus, and I the clown

You are with me, in my thoughts and in my dreams
My world revolves around you
I cannot escape you, so it seems
From waking up and seeing your face
To the moments when we’re apart
I count down the minutes, until I am back in your embrace
You are like home, with you I am obsessed
I’ve never felt so safe and warm
Then when I’m in your arms, lying on your chest
With you by my side, the future looks bright
Every day with you is and adventure
So, take my hand and hold on tight

I am ready
The time is drawing near
My body pulsing with fear
I've ordered my meal; I know that it's my last
Suddenly the years in that box, have gone so fast
I am ready
It's cold in here, as they peer through the glass
My icy heart for show
Lived my life behind a mask
I am ready
It is now time, poison entering my veins
My crimes and victims
Are all of me that remains

From two kids in love, not knowing anything
Rushing through life
To mending each other’s broken wings
Your faith in our love is what saved me, from my agony and headstrong ways
I can no longer live with those burdens
The pain from the past was worth it, for it led us here today
Our egos have cost us years
Regrets and mistakes were made
It is time to rectify the wrongs and conquer our fears
You’ve shown me how to love, to treasure life each and every day
From the first time we met, until my last breath,
I will always love you, and that will never fade away
