Ember Waters Poem
The final straw
thinly concealed stripe
heavy line easy
simple strike
it doesnt make me queasy
so simply fascinating
as it spreads further apart
the flood procrastinating
before it can start
shield cleanly cut
breaking tiny swords
not cold not hot
the flood is a horde
split the canvas
dry and crumbling
frames the tower as
and leaves them shambling

Ember Waters Poem
perfectly cut
end scene
an elegant strut
a screen
fill the space
lift a leg
then give chase
hear that beck
it lifts gen sky
body molded by hand
reaching ever high
a distant memory the stand
then lands on a foot
toes bend and shoes wrinkle
as the body sinks in soot
with a sprinkle
dissipates in reflectives
leaving sight
gone

Ember Waters Poem
that mute scream ripped open your throat
will not delay, wont apprehend
it's only a side effect
you really should've seen it coming
a lifelong flatline falling ill
such ridiculous things
as a mute static noise
spanning its tarred wings
over nothing, nothing at all.
the endless ocean a calm before a storm
but no eyes dare
to brave the waters surface
it remains unseen, unchanging
an endless opportunity
who will ever see the stars
if the ground is a glowing hunting mass
and the depths as dark as sky
ugly layers blended
you like it but thats a foreign concept
because who has space
when an ocean
is so fulfilling
you

Ember Waters Poem
Bravely fought in experiment
curious pain brings forth a scent
it smells red like pain
it feels right as rain
so another and another flood the gates
is it that face that you hate?
sudden like a snap
resonates another smack
more force makes curiousity
an immovable object with such verocity
a little less is never enough
you cant even say you have it rough
so when it gets old and white is red
then dont worry your little head
no bruise will call
on your assistance against this wall
so will you reach for the slice
the scraping vice
that rends flesh like fish in sea
glittering and shimmering among your plea
oh may this end but no
you want it so
you do dont you though
this isnt sorrow
its pain that starts the wheels
no matter how your voice squeals
drowned out in the fog
of your mind

Ember Waters Poem
Rich and unrelenting are you
You who has captured me so
Always changing never ending
The water to my kindling.
Tall and blue are you
You who has enraptured me so
Never changing always ending
Any doubts I've been having.
This is joy this is strife
This pier of empty existence
You caress with insistence
That you are easier than life.
To you my ocean i give all
Consume me make me thrall
Take my air its your call
To throw me back on shore.
Your brilliance never waving
Is all I've been craving
I despise the earth beneath
You'd never force me to breathe.
Throw me out I jump back in
To my favourite seat in this theater
Away from all I suffer
Is spectating such a sin?
Keep me Keep me let me stay
Be nothing in your bluest ray
Please i beg why wont you
Take the body i threw
Wash it ashore
Keep me instead
Just my head
Let all else be dead.

Ember Waters Poem
Cant remain but am
know I have to but cant
know I will but delay
sleep in the right time to die
spit my words like honey
casually crawls down their senses
muted slowed and automatic
the next tragedy so predictable
isnt that ugly or gross
why it was me
its how I know you
its how I hate you
so when do we crystallize
eternalized in motion
still and weathering
forever stuck on a twig
none the closer to snapping
I know I should but cant
I know I will never
so I wont ever
tell

Ember Waters Poem
Just as you did yesteryear
I wish I could cut you out
I now know a life without
You doesn't go into high gear
I gnawed your flesh away
While you demanded a refund
On my life it had me stunned
Not your angel you say
Well my thousand eyes opened
To see I came from marred flesh
So why expect my hide to be fresh
Its leathery but your hope and
Strife was felt regardless
What could this demon have been
If it ever were your kin
If you werent so heartless
Being who I am is my fault
You say you tried and failed
That my ship has long sailed
And I cannot ask it to halt
Left at shore to rip and tear
At the skin that brands me
Losing my tears in the roiling sea
Begging you to spare
Me the cruelty of your words
Of your look it burns
Please it hurts
Where is our history
Where are the memories
The shrill melodies
Where is my misery
It's gone but left grooves
In the mud of my skin
Whats left to do but grin
As you trample me with hooves
As you bite with fangs
You always had but deny
For no angel in the sky
Digs their teeth in lambs
Left for slaughter
Only sinking into beasts
Killing reserved for higher seats
And here I die to your laughter
Even after you've gone

Ember Waters Poem
Laughter trills through fire
Joy is spun on a lyre
Feathers were just growing in
And the bird watched its kin
Playing, scratching, screaming
I want to play!
You're on fire!
Thats what you say
But my nests been made a pyre
Eating, feasting
Food is stuffed in its mouth
So one day it may fly south
A whirlwind eats the flame
Wind to glide and maim
Blowing
Wheres my light?
The nest alight?
I know, I'll burn instead
Feed the whirl in my head
Righteousness is personal
When anger is an arsenal
It walks among birds aplently
To none was it friendly
Playing, Scratching, Screaming
I have feathers!
No you dont!
You grab your tethers
And i burn the rope
Eating, feasting
The wind has picked up
It fuels the inferno
Burns all that know
The wind is a flood
Flowing
Wheres my light?
My body alight?
I cant see it, i cant see
This must be home, where im free!

Ember Waters Poem
See within those starry skies,
Beauty of binding vines,
Fluorescent meaning lies,
In its parting petals spouting lies.
A clams soft pink shell,
Glints in thousand little pearls,
They glide gracefully and swell,
Winding around the rivers swirls.
The white serpents eyes are peach,
Tempting, soft but out of reach,
High up in the turquoise trees,
It's flicker preceding a cool breeze.
The glowing fruits are unfamilar,
No beauty is ever similar,
Eating one would erase the river,
As well as the beautigul glimmer.
The grass shall sustain instead,
The roots of the waters might,
It's coming from the river bed,
And will surely set things right.
The peachy glimmer on waters shell,
Relinquishes its glow for now,
Floras torrent said go back to hell,
No calm waters at this hour.
The grass has grown in your head,
No ecosystems full without fauna,
Water fuels both now one is dead,
Powerful serpent still along a
River

Ember Waters Poem
My drinks enticing and sweet
On a chair in the middle of the street
My little floaters been dinged
Toiling waves the edges singed
The wood alive with roaring flame
Waters pulsing like a broiling brain
The cars flow downriver like syrup
I float on my raft with an empty cup
My chair can't sink among the heat
Since it's not the damn drivers seat
So I travel the world and surf
My cup will never touch any turf
Arms reach out from the ocean waves
They hold tight, the current fails
They want saltless delight im sure
I lift the parasol, sugar is the cure
I reach down and share the fluid
The current takes it, people included
It's no matter, I can surf without it
So I crouch on the boards and sit
Then lie and bask in the sun
And even the hands cant ruin the fun
They still reach and pin me
From below the board they see
Grab my cup and take it
I laugh and spit
I let them take it where it belongs
Bubbling under the wooden walls
And I still have the suns fire
It extinguishes the waters pyre
The lapping waves cant burn
My raft of wood will never turn
Everything is so warm and free
As long as my drink is lifting me
