I Am a Warrior Aren'T I

On these thorny paths, I walked
Tip toeing, reducing weight
Fighting the tears back
Lest pain would smile
And pull it's eyes on me

I have taken so much
That could have even suffocated me
Only the heart did die though
Cause it really feels nothing
No pains just at ease

I have learnt to feign courage
I have learnt to ridicule the pain
Cause it feels powerful when it sees tears
Only subdued with dry eyes
So, I gave it no tears

Those thorny paths, I have walked
This thick forest through, I crossed
Scorching sun barefooted on desert sand
I'm a fighter, I am a warrior
The riches I smell down yonder

The destiny -laid in my eyes
The future locked in my mind
The riches i smell down yonder
Now within reach only with a step
Sour sweet, sweet sweat, pain compensated

River Side Scene

Gone for the view
Sometimes maybe a swim
Or just fishing
In a quiet shore

Just alone gazing at each other
After an hour -a fruitless catch
Sighing, frustrated giving up
In each other's arms comforting

A strange feeling sparkled with a kiss
The warmth like never felt before
Waters, sand, grass and the sky yet watching
Only playful taunts revealed in giggles

If the Sun Goes Down

If the sun goes down
Maybe the moon will come up
If the sun goes blind
Maybe the moon will close its eyes

Defying the lion in its own den
Trying to catch a caught antelope
A recent catch still warm
Surprised by a wild roar

Stupid life stepping on other's toe
Smiling in scare being such a fool
The paths that are fetched -in flight too
Dear life save yourself -fly

No intention in ignorance
In knowledge responsibility taken
Things we would not know
In knowing maybe avoided

A Friend Has Left For Eternity

A friend has hence home
Forever leaving us to weep
These memories left for us to keep
In our hearts no escape the other home

Our friends have left for eternity
Yet in our hearts they shall remain for eternity
Memories that sometimes spark in us
Forever remain just to taunt us

Reminding us things we could have done better
The good time we never shared
The things we wanted to do
The places we wanted to go

Yet the touch has gone forever
Only the feel remain to haunt
The physical that cannot be reclaimed
The emotions that remain to taunt

They See Beauty

Beauty needs no eyes
For eyes cannot see it
Beauty requires a patient heart
To discover its hidden traits

Some claim to see beauty
Forgetting it is only skin deep
Where eyes do not reach
Only the heart feels deep through

Beauty is hidden in things
Behaviours you love so much
And beauty is discovered everyday
That is why love grows each and everyday

They see beauty
Outlook preferences confused
The warmth that grows cold
Heart's rhythm refusing to match

Marry Me

I want the world to know
That we are really one
I want to pinch your cheeks
After taking our vows
I want to put a ring on your finger
While everyone is watching
I want to kiss you
In front of everyone
Amidst cheering from the crowd
I want to brighten your forehead
With the wedding cake

Sometimes She Does Not Believe Me

She says I am a liar
She thinks I am a player
That in her life I will make a Messi (mess)
Like I am really a complete player

So when I am talking
The way she looks at me
Her right palm on her cheek
The elbow resting on her thigh

Her big lovely eyes never blink
Looking straight into my eyes
Feeling her gaze in my mind
Deciphering truth from a lie

Then she twitches my forehead
When she thinks something is amiss
Just for me to repeat myself
Then I twitch hers too- to use her brain

She slaps me off the top of my head
And twitch me thrice in row
She will burst out of the house
I know, she does not want to murder me

She is prettier when she is mad
Punching and kicking the punch bag outside
She is the funniest creature in this world
And she is really a joy of my life

Deserted Child

Friends do not laugh at me
Walking barefooted to school
It is not an option to choose
Only that they have no pride in me

Friends don't look down on me
Even if I am wearing these tattered clothes
We are equally the same this proof I can give it to you
Let's wait for a test and solve our differences

Friends bear with me -though
If I keep borrowing your pens
Don't even dare to ask me
When shall I buy my own?

Friends if you see me begging in town
I am not really proud at it
I really hate myself to dip into your parents' pocket
And being helpless and being so lazy

Friends if you see me doing a piece of work
That does not even seems to suit me
I really have nothing to do
I have to, no matter what it takes

Friends I envy you for borne from humans
I mean it and I advise you not to be so rude
Don't ask me where are my aliens
I tell you they are brainless humans so similar though

They are not locked in the wooden box down there
They are still roaming on this planet so free
But they have nothing to do with me
They don't really understand how I existed

They say I am a sudden stranger
A wit of their mistempered little joys
But no burning passion just a pleasure
Who even told me to rush to my freedom?

Buy I have passion I have a goal
I mean I really have a dream
To soar into the sky
And see the world beyond

I pray to heavens everyday
To keep them both -though
To witness our destined fate
I mean to see my bad luck turning around

The World Has Forgotten

I want to show the world
Maybe to remind it
How pretty you are
The truth that is hidden

You are a pretty warrior
Who can defeat the greatest pain
Yet you have fallen to fats
That hid your true identity

I remember when we were starting
You were just you, the true you
I don't want you to starve in anorexic
I don't want you to throw up in bulimia

All I want is the true you
The person I fallen in love with -years ago
I don't want other person than that
I can't just bury the true you

Hence forth I will be your abusive friend
Waking you up every morning to jog
Waking you up every morning to rope jump
And it will be spiced with aerobics dance

Don't worry you are a warrior it will be fun
Don't give up I won't give up on you
A little sit ups you are a warrior
Together we will find the true you

They Call Me Baby Here

I am just new here
Everything looks strange
Even the language unfamiliar
I can't even keep my steps

I have been in dark world
It had been years I guess
Not sure arithmetic not yet gained
All I know it had been long

I don't really understand
I received a heavy pat on my back
At my very arrival I don't know what for
I guess an welcoming gesture

When i was crying
Everybody was laughing
I can't comprehend though
What was funny about my pain?

She put me in her arms
It was so warm
She gave me food
It was so delicious

Others are coming to see me
With excitement on their faces
They seems to be showering gifts
I don't know what is big deal about me

I don't like some gazes though
I am so afraid of them
In their arms not feeling safe
Am I just being naive?

But her she is the only person
I can truly trust
She gives me food she keeps me warm
It is rare to cry in her arms
