INSPIRED SUNSHINE
Sunshine and serenity, a piece of mind upon,
the wings of an eagle, above the great beyond,
far away from the pull, that tugged me to the ground,
and kept me from my family, and left no one around,
that cared about my presence, and used me for my kindness,
so I climbed upon an eagle, and Christ healed me from my blindness,
so I can steer this eagle, and stay closer to a higher power,
who stands by me through the struggle, and taught me not to be a follower,
and inspire grounded angels, and offer them a wing,
upon the greatest bird, an eagle while you sing,
firebird we all know, and wont back down you see,
the point I'm trying to make, is we all can be free,
from the death grip of addiction, that had us feeling tired,
now flying high and so proud, another angel is inspired.

Another day of living, with no high speed crash,
Focus on the future, and reflect on the past,
Live everyday in beauty, and let the sunshine in,
And thank the Lord above, for removing all the sin,
Support from our brothers, our family and our friends,
And pride for myself, for letting Christ step in,
Wear that badge of honor,and motivate the weak & shaky,
Giving thanks for resurrection, while enjoying this gravy,
Life left to live, not just topping for this supper,
The most real thing I've heard, the cross he hung to suffer,
To forgive our sinful ways, so we can love in peace,
What a wonderful day it is, knowing there is relief,
And a purpose for my life, in my heart and my future,
No matter how deep the wound, Christ always has a suture,
To stop a bleeding heart, and to even out the beat,
And Easter was the day, he rose back onto his feet!

What is this strange place, we find ourselves in,
Trapped in the open, we are free within,
Anchored like a sailors, ship out at sea,
Everywhere you look, is it possibility,
Of ways to overcome, and build ourselves up,
Plant the seed of hope, and the past door gets shut,
Gliding through time, as it seems to stand still,
I push through each day, with the help of God's will,
Challenging my faith, and the ability to be me,
Giving me the courage, to finally be set free,
With my tools for eternal, life all in place,
The matrix without me, is truly a disgrace!

WOUNDED ANGELS SONG
A wounded angels song, how might that sound
would happiness drown in tears, or would hope still be found,
would a bright future lie, ahead with promise in the land,
would the good lord above, bless us with his hand,
to keep our hearts filled, with love hope and joy,
and give each and every one of us, a weapon the deploy,
on satin and his presence, stands before us and he burns,
challenging our beliefs, and our courage to be stern,
testing just how deep , and pure our love runs,
from him and his ways, like the snow and the sun,
because the devil has ice running through his veins,
and sunshine in the lords, you see looks aren't the same,
but a feeling that is true, when you put them to the test,
the ice always fails, and sunshine proves to be best,
so don't be run off and believe everything you hear,
because we all have a song, that proves Jesus is near!
