Nick Casale Poem
Domestic Dissent
Ashamed of their child’s becoming,
Who doesn’t deserve their divine respect
Give up on this self-righteousness already!
Why can’t you be like the other kids?!
We, are your parents!
Your “Constitutional rights” don’t apply!
Only my opinion deserves respect,
Only my opinion matters!
Choose a career for money,
That’s your new life goal
We, decided it was best for you
You cant care! You’re just a kid!
You shouldn’t be worrying about these things,
You don’t need to.
No, you’re the children,
You’re the ignorance,
You’re the censors,
Socialistic through administrative interest
Communistic through uniformity in naivety
You know,
I’ve met adults that pledged they would never become their parents,
They didn’t fulfill their vow.
“That’s the most horrible,
Terrifying thing,
When you realize you are just like your parents.”
I’ll follow through,
All you continuers of humanity out there,
Support your kin,
That’s all they want,
Support
Through,
Love
Understanding
Acceptance
&
A positive influence

Nick Casale Poem
Ambiguity
Sometimes its scary,
Not knowing the outcome of your life.
Time goes by fast, well that’s just a perception,
How will I utilize my time on this planet?
There is no afterlife,
Just make the most of what you have now.
What’s your purpose?
Reason for existence?
Why am I here anyway?
Is consciousness a plague?
How much easier would it be to be an animal?
Just a simple conscious.
No need for reason or ideas,
Just to survive.
No,
That would be hell.
Would I even know hell as an animal?
You don’t want that.
You have a conscious mind for a reason
To use it.
But in what way?
How to make your mark?
Or even none at all,
Ostracize yourself?
Make a name for myself,
Without submitting to egoism.
Keep with your morals,
Unless of course they become immoral.
They will be the only stability in your life.
No role models for you?
Become the role model for yourself then.
At least,
Make an effort.
Life purpose is a joke
No it isn’t.
Its just an idea
Perception
Well then
How will you perceive it?

Nick Casale Poem
In the name of God, asphyxiate
In the name of God, conquer
In the name of God, discriminate
In the name of God, ostracize
In the name of God, obey
In the name of God, suppress dissent

Nick Casale Poem
Don’t Itch
You’re stronger than this
You know what’s going to happen when you itch it
It’s just going to itch again!
There’s no point in itching it
You’ll never beat it!
Resist the urge!
It’s all in your head
You only hold you’re itchy
You only know you’ll stay itchy
You can expunge these thoughts
