Poets, Do Not Give Up

Poets, do not give up
Whatever you write
Whatever you spit out
A genius will be up
To it somewhere. Someone
Will understand the tone
Of your voice, the hieroglyph
Of your thoughts, the myth
Of your vision and the dactyl of your wit
Someone will be up to it. The perennial spirit
Of your global view is astounding
Although few comprehend your writing
And the mechanical process of your brain
No need to call a surrealist surgeon
Everything is absolutely normal
Only the Poets fully comprehend
The intricacies of the supernatural
Being, who is not afraid to make a stand
Poets, do not give up
You see things from top
To bottom and from the wrong-side-up
There’s no need to bring a novel map
An updated or an archaic GPS
Many Poets fully comprehend the methodized mess.

P.S. In the memory of all Poets...

When Things Went Very Bad For Jesus

It is Good Friday
Remember, remember
When, for Jesus, everything was nasty and sour
When things were very bad for Jesus
Yet, we don’t say: bad Friday
Afterwards, so everything could be good for us
Jesus was slapped
Jesus was kidnapped
Jesus was humiliated
Jesus was insulted
Jesus was beaten, kicked and hit
From head to feet
Jesus was shackled and handcuffed
Jesus could not even cough
Jesus was ostracized
Jesus was crucified
Like many Blacks and Africans
Like many brothers and sisters with dark skin
Yet, the heart of Jesus was pure and very clean
Jesus had no friends and no fans
Jesus was falsely accused
Jesus was mistreated
Jesus was immolated
Many criminals were amused
Many Satanists and perpetrators had fun
With God’s only Begotten and Special Son
Who had endured pain and suffering like a slave
Yes, yes, Jesus was absolutely brave
Yes, yes, Jesus was innocent
Jesus was resilient, too decent and too pleasant
It is Good Friday
Brothers and sisters, let’s pray
Every day is a Good and Beautiful day
Amen, Amen, let’s reflect on the Day
Brothers and sisters, let’s pray
Remember, remember
When things went very bad for Jesus
Who died for our sins, Who died for us
Yes, Jesus is still standing with us
Jesus is God’s Unique and Special Son
Watch the moon and enjoy the Sun.

A Narrow Path To Nonsense

Trying to pass an elephant
Through a needle is crazy and irrational
That's a narrow path to nonsense
Trying to fake it or to faint
That you score when you drop the ball
Every time is highly deceptive
That's a spooky way to show unintelligence
A sore loser is pusillanimous and vindictive
An illustrious leader accepts defeat and concedes
After losing a long battle. Bad or foolish deeds
Merit no rewards or compensation
Great men show comprehension, compassion
Bravery and true leadership in a crisis
Doing the impossible thing is not a basis
To a successful outcome. Common sense
Prevails all the time. Ignorance and intolerance
Deserve no defense. A man with a magnanimous heart
And bravery is a hero who puts nobody apart
Because unity wins all the time. Division is a cancer
That destroys dreams, hope and a better future
A genius keeps everything relative, relevant and simple
And stays away from anything that's senseless and impossible.

Autumn Flower

Yellow flower, grieving flower, pale flower,
You were burnt by the sun and the hot rain.
Ripe flower, matured flower, immaculate flower,
You've nevertheless kept your phenomenal beauty sane.

The half-yellow and the half-green leaves
Are trying to mimic your beautiful color.
Mother Nature and Fauna are profusely in tears,
And Squirrel and Nightingale in a state of horror.

Flower of one of the most somber and romantic seasons,
Your exceptional beauty merits great admirations
And your sweet and delicious sap is beyond words.

Flower, I'm coming tonight to rest on your turfs,
To contemplate the stars and the sparks,
The abandoned branches and the rods floating in the parks.

French version
Fleur d'Automne

Fleur jaune, fleur triste, fleur pâle;
Le soleil t'a brûlée et la pluie t'a échaudée;
Fleur mûre, fleur maturée, fleur immaculée;
Malgré tout, tu as gardé ta beauté phénoménale.

A Cheap Pleonasm: Make America Great Again

America has been GREAT, great for the last two centuries.
All right, America has been the greatest among all countries,
For a long time. MAGA is a cheap pleonasm, which just
Won the most contentious election in American history.
The problem, as widely reported, Trump is corrupt, unjust,
Sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, vociferous, and nasty.
This is the first time that we have such a hyperactive loose cannon,
Who is despised by his own political party. He is an orchestra
Of unusual lyrics and melodies. The man is like an untamed lion.
As a reminder, money, strength and power are not everything.
Humility, wisdom, decency, and common sense, in America,
Are extremely crucial and important, to make the dogs sing.
A president should be a role model, a beacon for children;
A fighter, a problem solver, a savior for the entire electorate;
A leader, a giant not a bully, a diplomat for the world to emulate.
The jury will be deliberating; America does not need to be 'great again';
We need an improved economy, mutual respect, controlling the flow
Of immigration, money, illicit drugs, and put our ducks in a row,
To be a haven for all, regardless of race, color, gender and ethnicity.
America is the greatest, I am not lying; simply ask the Statue of Liberty.

Unfinished Poems

All poems are unfinished
Only those in sonnet are finished
Completed, done, and terminated
A poem can still be edited
Revised, retouched and rewritten
A poem is a powerful tool or weapon
Leave alone my unfinished poems
These are my spices, my stars, my emblems
You don't understand their symbols
And the words used to fill up the bowls
You just have to read my poems ten times
To fully comprehend them. Ignore the rhymes
To pay more attention to the vernacular
They are not bizarre; they are just particular
They are not regular; they are unfinished
They are not strange, they are simple. Kabish!

Let The Lilies And The Roses Flourish

For crying out loud, the flowers are gorgeous,
Fresh, happy, young, alive, and vivacious.
Regrettably, we, humans, cut their lives short,
From time to time, from events to events.

For God’s sake, let the flowers live like the monuments,
Let them enjoy a long life, like the statues in the court.
Almost every event, like birthdays, weddings and anniversaries,
Is the end for those petals, which are sinking in past memories.

Even the funerals are not sympathetic to the beautiful lilies.
In lieu of flowers, why can’t they write beautiful poems,
Make memorable cards or fake flowers with dead leaves?

Let the flowers live in the garden, and plant them in the cemeteries,
In lieu of flowers, send meaningful poems that inspire dreams.
For crying out loud, please end the customary bereaves.

Ton Joyeux Anniversaire, Belle Commere

Oh ! A Pitch-Black Christmas Night

I am dreaming of a pitch-black Christmas night
Tonight, where the jolly stars can easily be seen
In the sky. From afar, the moon is clear and bright
And the clouds create a wonderfully divine scene.

I am dreaming of a dark black Noel night
Where all babies experience and see while asleep
The jamboree that I'm enjoying under the beam light
Of a flying sleigh. What I am saying is incredibly deep.

When the sky is pitch-black, there's always a party in Heaven
The angels wear an array of colors with their Sunday best
God sits atop, right in the middle of the feast in Eden.

I'm dreaming of a marriage between darkness and brightness
Where there is no evil, there is no Hell in man's consciousness
I‘m not sleeping but I'm dreaming like Baby Jesus in the nest.
