The Act

Act 1
A woman is walking down the street
After working a long day’s shift, she is exhausted
She reaches her house door and pulls out her keys
But they fall out of her hands
Frustrated, she bends down to pick them up
When she hears ‘ Nice view, lets recreate that someday mama’
She’s not fazed
That man told her she looks nice
She smiles it off and enters her home

The Lesson

*Hello everyone, I know I have been out a few weeks but i'm back to reposting my old poems. I believe this one was from 2019 so enjoy!*

Good morning class!

Today we have a very important lesson. We will be learning about our country and how we came to be, mostly importantly, about immigrants.

The founding fathers created this country and fought wars and countries to obtain their independence. And who knows what we have because of their hard-work?

F-R-E-E-D-O-M

Exactly little Suzie, we are free to do whatever we want if we follow the rules. But guess who doesn't follow rules?

I-M-M-I-G-R-A-N-T-S

Now little Suzie, you see, once we built this country, other people wanted to come to our home and try to invade it. We first welcomed them, but they turned out to be bad people. Some may try to hurt your parents or take your dolls.

Others sell drugs to make more money or take girls and use them for their own desires.

If you ever see an illegal person
- Call ICE
- Ba rate them with names as we call the police
- Point at them whenever they speak spanish and yell "speak english"

ITs a fire drill, just stop, drop, and roll. Stop when you sited such a person, drop a couple f-bombs here and there on how thye suck, and then roll on your name out of there

Little Suzie, no good alien exists. They are trying to ruin our land, ruin your precious lives

They are like an open book that has invisible ink on the pages, all we have to do it get some clairty and read it.

Their kids grow up to terrorize the streets, us Americans were made to roam around the white house halls. Because unlike them, we actually belong in this country.

They only pick up our trash and crops because they know how they need to respect. They scrub the floors of this class and others everyday because it's the only thing they are good at, serving.

Don't cry little Suzie, your tears mean nothing to the aliens, the illegals. There is a solution to this. Its called a

W-A-L-L

So that way we are safe from their grasps and can sleep at night, knowing that they are just rats in this cat game. They constantly go for the cheese.

Well, I believe this it it class. Please put away your stuff and act normally...the last thing you need is to be acting as an immigrant.

Command

Disclaimer: My account got deleted a few months back so I am reuploading my poem "Command"

Oh honey, you ‘ain't doing it right
We all learn where our place is at home
I guess its my fault for not teaching you well
Now you will see what to do

I gotta set the example to ya
It's hard when you first start out
But soon, you’ll get the hang of it
Either the easy way or the hard way

At all say, you follow his word
He knows better, he says better
Don’t try to refute him on anything he says
This will make him mad because you aren’t treating him right

Give him anything he wants
He comes home exhausted from work
It’s our job to attend him right
So that he doesn’t overwork himself

If he tells you something isn’t done right, it an’t done right
Us ladies can become very forgetful at times
However his memory is sharp as a needle
Just don’t be a fuss and redo it

No matter how much the first time might have hurt
Whatever goes on in the house stays in the house
No need to brother folks with the same old story
Its for our good, so we can become better

He always apologizes anyways
Its enough if he says sorry
No matter how much it hurt
No matter how much make-up it takes it to cover

Its our job to obey at command
An eternal game of Simon says
Where only Simon can be the winner
Where only Simon can speak

He is our puppeteer
And we are his marionettes
He pulled eachs tring carefully
Crafting and forming an ultimate bride

He pulls our strings
And we have no option but to stand
He grabs ands pulls and tugs
Our lifeless and dull bodies into a perfect creation

He is best
But once we provoke him, he is beast
One that roams the halls at night
Preying on innocent victims that you want to run and hide
Stand still

This takes time
Many learn the hard way
When he yells for spoiled milk
We have to take it all in

We are taught that in his presence
We shut up and be good girls
When he grabs you at your throat
You can hardly ever take a deep breath

When he bounds you
And puts you in chains
Ones that you can’t get out of
It turns your wrist an assortment of red and blue

You have to stop resisting
Don't pull away from his grasp
Let his words put you in a hypnoses
Let yourself learn from him

Life is never fair
And we can never get what we want
But we gotta trust that he is best
Because we never want to see his best turn into beast

Estruendo

El ritmo de mi corazon
Follows the beat of the music that hums in the town
La musica of regeton and salsa
Flows through the wind as my body is compelled to listen

Merchants selling fresh produce
El tortillero on his bikes chimes his bell through the neighborhood
Kids playing futbol, wanting to be el next Pele
El ritmo de mi corazon esta aqui

An eerie silence rips thriugh the air
Ss fear consumes all rythme
All joy
All noise

La mara, La mara
I hear throughout the streets
The gang comes and strikes at my people
They are ruthless and merciless

La mara mata
I see as they burst through doors and take a girl from a family
How they went through houses killing people
I hear how a single bullet can fly overhead and inflict the same pain as a funeral

They entered my house and grabbed mi mama
Mi alma
I could only watch as she defended her house
And then they beat her before dragging her outside to the streets

And then they shot her
Mi alma, mi ritmo se fue
She told me to run so I can be safe
But no where is home without her

They took everything
When some of us made nothing
They treated us like animales
Como perrors cayejeros

So i left to find refugee
A cruel dessert lay overhead
But I could her on the other side of the frontera
El ritmo comenco a sonar
Encontarer mi ritmo

A Series of Abusive Events

*Hello, i wrote and uploaded these poems in May 2018 but my account got deleted. I am uploading them all over again This poem is the second part to the first one. Enjoy*

She was once given a bottle
That held a special potion
The person that gave it to her
Advised to use it when she needed it

She forgot about the bottle
It was plain yellow with dull dark liquid
She continued on with her life
A life with a secret

In the depths of the night
A monster crept in her hallways
And climbs into bed with her
And whispers “Good night”

The monster drags her out
She can’t escape his grapes
Over and over the nights
Does the monster
Heed to is will

She feared the night
When the darkness would consume her
And she would bend
To its tied down will

However she had enough
The night the monster dragged her out
She mustered her words
And yelled to the monster

“Just hit me
Hit me
You already make me feel worthless
I am nothing to you…Nothing”

The monster recedes but the woman runs to the bottle
She opens the bottle and swallows the liquid
But how does it feel
When she can’t die from it?

The liquid gave her hope
To reach out from the darkness
And rise up
To never see the monster again

A Series of Abusive Events

* hello, i wrote and uploaded these poems in May 2018 but soon after my account got deleted. I am uploading them all again so enjoy*

Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Here comes the sun…
The one lyric that plays in my head
The one I felt on my back
When all I was covered in darkness

Mama told me its alright
And that I had to do things all right
She was my example growing up
The endurance and beauty that shined

She taught me that love was like a flower
That tender love and care
Could make it sprout
But she forgot that type of flowers she was growing had thorns

Mama knew she had a burden
A curse lying on her back
It ran in the family
Given not by choice

A curse that flowed in her blood
And spilled at her side
Everywhere she went
The curse…he… would follow

It was an impeding shadow
That suffocated all the light she had within
Suffocated, ripping her
From her breath and right to live

Mama told me it was fine
That this was the flower she was caring for
That one day, I too
Would care for that

But I saw her scars that ran up her arms
And that rested on her neck
AS if it to be a reminder
Of the power and coldness over her

A curse that kills her
And that's relentless
But its been in our family for generations
Like a thorn that suffocates a rose

It like a disease that runs in our blood
And flows out of me like a broken faucet
And I don’t have the tools to fix
And I’m helpless

All I see is a graveyard
Of all my ancestors with the curse looming
This curse comes to kill me
And with all my might I try to fight it off
Bt it comes to me
Trying to take my breath out
As the corpses surround me
As I turn to see my fate

This isn’t love mama
You don’t deserve this
I don’t deserve this
Why do I have to accept it

But I have seen a better future
One where we will experience no hurt
Where I teach my children how to really love
A place where our flowers can grow and not die

And we will say
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Nightmare

Do you know what a nightmare is?
It’s the crawling of the shiver of your spine
Your need to breathe
And the darkness of night that consumes you
A nightmare is the ghosts of the past that haunt you
The smell of death that pursues you
And will never let you go
The rate of your heart stops
And all the beating stops
And you begin to see what everyone else sees
Despair…hopelessness… death
But nightmares can come to life
Through the faces you see everyday that shift into monsters
That crawl in your bed and don’t let you sleep
And take your need to breathe

Rat Festation

I come in my house one day
Just got home from getting groceries
You can always get the good deals on Mondays
And I’m talking to one of my girlfriends who is shopping too
We chitchat of everything while she does her groceries when I hear a sound
Like scurrying through the floor
I thought it was the rain pouring on the windows
But then I heard it again
That whispering sounds of scurring
Of scratching
My floors had claw marks all over
And thats when I saw it
A RAT!
I dropped my phone and run throughout the house, getting on chairs and tables
Get away you foul creature
A rat with red eyes, looking back it me
These are almost impossible to get rid of
Where do these animals come from?
All rats are the same, always wild animals that need to be annexed
It disappears in my kitchen where I patch the hole it came through
The next day i’m doing laundry when hear that sound
Scurrying across the floor, the sound of running
Panting, exhaustion
And I see the rat near my clothes and I scream
Get away you foul creature
A rat with red eyes, looking back it me
These are almost impossible to get rid of
Where do these animals come from?
They just keep on coming, invading my space and where
I live
They need to go or else they will always come back
I set traps all over the house
Setting cheese in one, poison in another
All gadgets from A to Z
We need to get rid of them , they are a danger to us
But you know what the great thing about setting traps are?
That I have the power to control their lives, all with a piece of cheese
And just like cheese, all things go sour
One by one, these wild animals are gone
By a few days, the scurrying stops
But the sound of running
panting , exhaustion play in my mind
But if they ever come back
 They know what awaits them
And the scurrying will stop
And they will cease to exist

Esfuerzo

Todo por 15 centavos
Everything for 15 cents
The labour of my hands
The sweat that beads down my forehand
That connect with the chopping of plants and extracting from their roots
Por mis hijos y su futuro me esfuerzo
For my kids and their future, I strive
As the sounds of yelling blares through the winds
I need to help my kids
To place food in their mouths
The thought connects to my hand as I chop the fruit
And extract it from its root, over and over
Until the sun has accomplished its desires with me
And left me with pain tha rides up my back and through my neck
Let me show you the lineage that runs in my family

How i had to escape mi tierra, mi casa
Bonita
As all the ripped through the air was violence
Girls that got raped day after day
Mothers mourning day after day
Now I work to create a better future day after day

The sun beats down on my forhead
Like cascades that flow over cliffs
The pain as having a gun pointed at you
Mi casa, mi tierra was now America
Where I was promised to work for peace

Why do you see evil in me
That you see a reflection of those who forced us out
I am human too
I am not a rapist, or a drug dealer
Soy una personna
Even when others don’t see that
So, Presidente Trump
Why want to push us out and return us to the source of pain
Your wall is protection for you but a death sentence for us
Oye nuestras voces, oye mi historia

The Trump Game

They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime’
They’re rapists, and some I assume are good people
But I speak to border guards and they tell me what we’re getting
And it all makes common sense, they are sending us not the right people.
It’s coming from more than Mexico, its coming from all over south and latin america and its coming probably from the middle east but we don’t know since we have no protection. We don’t know what happening and its gotta stop and its gotta stop fast
When Mexico sends their people, they are not sending their best
They are sending people that have lots of problems and they are bringing their problems with us
We’re gonna build a wall, we have no choice
Build that wall
Build that wall
Build that wall
build that wall
So we’re going to build it
We’re building a beautiful wall that really works, that you can’t get over, you can’t get under
It’s not even a difficult thing to do
We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in,we are stopping a lot of them
But we are taking people out of the country. These are’t people, these are animals and we are taking them out of the conutnry in a level or rate that has never happened before. Because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get ‘em, we release them, we get them again
