As we face the reality of life
We hear the sounds of slap to our faces
Where we beg to live for another day
And thorns are kept in our flesh
We were told to prepare
For peace in the times of war
But how can we when we don’t
Understand the peace piece’s puzzle
We can’t afford enough for the day
Than we are to save for tomorrow
Told to provide what we don’t have
Our future flew out of our hands
So when will we do such thing
When the goer goes to the grave?

Silent night
All was calm and bright
Hands were lifted in hallelujah
As the soccer page
Became the garden of Gethsemane
Holy night
Sinners eyes ran tears
As hearts grieved for their evil deeds
Their words sewing their wretch clothes
Romans 10:9-10 coming alive
Suddenly wings took to flight
While the children of God gathered
The devil was found in their midst
Sowing thorn among the roses
Lives were hacked
As breaths were cut
The field was water with blood
Like in mud man was stampede
The scent of death polluted the air
