Sr. Magdala Grace Rutherford Poem
I sat so still in silence
the sound of Quietness,
gently tugged upon my sleeve
as offering to bless.
The strength needed no glory
raised in mighty cries,
the humble servant attitude
is all the here applied.

Sr. Magdala Grace Rutherford Poem
Wake me from slumber's arms,
her warm caress deceives me.
Save me from her temptress charms,
felled prey of my foul enemy.
Tell me arise, arise
your glorious light beckoned.
Pleasing brightness to my eye,
sleeps darkness over-reckoned.

Sr. Magdala Grace Rutherford Poem
The winds of change surround my heart.
I know not what they bring.
Except to look towards galed hints
of voiced familiar ring.
I’ll know His call my heart does say
And yet with fear it peers.
Across the open plain unknown
as His desire nears.
For some known signs I search about
His face I try to see.
Just take His outstretched gentle hand
Believe that He loves me.
Oh guide me in thy way dear one
Tell me of what you yearn.
Again our hearts shall reach as one
Only to you I turn.
