Positivity

That jokes you crack,
That smiles you make.
That passing comments you say,
That makes someone's day.
That problems you solve,
And the way you evolve.
Those questions you have in your mind,
Those answers you find.
Those friends you make,
Those photos you take.
Those chapters you complete,
Those exams you compete.
That stupid you feel,
Those wounds you heal.
That times you go on a ride,
That rules you abide.
Those times you star,
Those rides in your car.
Those things you write,
Those times you feel that you are right.
That times you make someone proud,
That times you are nine the cloud.
That times someone says you look cute,
That laughs you loot.
And now when someone says,
There's no positivity now-a-days,

Confused

Once in a lifetime I have got this chance,
A chance to balance.
But what is this obstacle,
That I don't know how to tackle.
Why don't they understand,
That letting go off something that helped me stand,
Is the biggest foolishness,
And will make a big mess.
I am not sure if I want to leave this feeling,
For something that just sounds more appealing.
This boosts my self-esteem,
But do they feel it? It doesn't seem.
Yes, they are thinking of something that's good for me,
But I don't feel it's the correct time for me.

Little Things

Smiles that you see when you wake up,
Laughs you hear when you fall down,
Yells that ask you to study,
And Shouts that call you to play,

Walks that turn into endless talks,
And talks that turn into limitless gossips,
Surprises that never remain hidden,
Memories that would leave you smitten

Lies that would break your heart,
And truths that would touch your heart,
Tasks that would stuff you up,
But give you a reason to get up

Aches that would let you know,
How much love and support you owe,
All those byes,
And all those hi's.

Support of all those hand(s),
And belief that would help you stand.
And all those relationships you mend,
By touching your ears with hand(s)

Its funny how these little things affect you differently,
But all help you to grow gently.
This is what life is all about,

Friendship

Maybe we will not meet,
Maybe we will not gather for a treat,
But still you'll remain sour and I sweet,
Both completely different but perfect do they fit.

Maybe we will video call,
Maybe you will not pickup my call,
But we will together hit every ball,
With a bat friendship which we call.

Maybe we'll fight,
Maybe we'll hug tight,
But I promise I'll always make your mood light,
And lift it up as a flight.

Pretty Penny

It should be a lie,
But it couldn't be a lie;
That if you sought,
Everything can be bought;
With something as trivial as money,
You can win somebody.
But it should be inverse,
I would say in my words;
Though in real life, many,
With buttload of penny,
Will have everything,
And will also win in every ring.

How bad does it sound,
And yes it is profound.

I Don'T Mind

I don't mind, Even if you feel,
That I have no place in your world that is ill.
The impression that you have of me,
Will surely not stop me.
Because you know what, I am far better than you,
I have friends and happiness too.
I don't lie to myself,
Nor do I behave different than I am myself.
I have none who follow me,
But I do have many who admire me,
You have a massive following,
But hey, I have people who are understanding.
And guess what, I don't compare me,
With people like you whatever it be.

Famous

Was I ruining everything, Never did I think.
I was not real, But who sees it here.
Wrong were all those claim, They were just to gather fame.
I tried to be cool, But I was making myself fool.
I hid all my tears, So I can look fierce.
I behaved strong, but deep inside knew it was wrong.
I learnt how to wear mask, And say I was fine when anyone would ask.
I hid my scars, To reach stars.
I found a staircase, But it took me down ways.
Was I falling down, Just to become famous in the town?
Yes I became famous, But landed in a fuss.
There was only me, No one else was free.
What I wanted I did gain, But I was not what I was when it began.
I thought I would get happiness when I reach there, But it was lost while hopping here and there.
Now I do know, Happiness doesn't look high or low.
It just tries to find a heart, that is big enough to lend a part.

Confusion

Everytime at a crossroad,
I get into confusion mode.
Should I go and accept the challenge,
Or just stick here without any change.

I do feel I want a change,
And cross this range.
But what if it isn't right,
As the path doesn't seem bright.

But what if I have been made for it,
What if the path is for me to lit.
What if after I choose,
I lose?

What will they say?
What if they don't stay?
But if they don't stay and say something about me,
That means they weren't meant to be.

Maybe after I make this decision,
I will know with precision,
That who will be there,
Even if I am here or there.

Barrier

Bring on, Something new,
That is known to just a few.
Just start afresh,
But how could those thoughts suppress?

But this thoughts, I argued,
Are not letting you be you, I agreed.
Find your true virtue,
This thoughts you shouldn't chew.

Why am I here in a moment,
And there in another?
Why all of this movement,
When I can stay here happier?

How do you think should I stop it?
Maybe by stopping to ask it to other.
I will be able to bring something new,
When I leave everyone who don't bother.

Now I know that I am great,
In my own way I suppose.
All this time I was affected by me,
As only I would oppose.

It's true that you are your own barrier,
Everyone else don't affect you much like it appear(s).
You only let yourself affect,
And that's the reason for this impact.

That Someone

I had it, I just didn't know it.
I found it, I just didn't show it.
I loved it, I just didn't express it.
I could do it, I just didn't approve it.

What was I waiting for, you would ask.
The problem was that I was wearing a mask.
Too scared that they would laugh,
I showed them just the half.

Why just not say I don't want to,
Instead of accepting that I can't do.
Why not run away,
When you are too afraid to stay.

This all happens until one day,
Someone comes as a ray,
And shows you a mirror,
Making you realise, that girl, you can be better.
