My little grandson Noah,
You're growing up so fast
Seems yesterday you
Were a tiny babe
Time is rushing past.
Now you're almost one year old!
You're such a little man
With brains, looks, personality
And I'm your biggest fan.

Puff, Spook and Molly
Are two cats and a dog
They often entertain me,
But they all eat like hogs.
They run and chase around the house
No matter day or night,
Sounds like an army traveling through
But no guns, biting or real fights.
It's like having little toddlers
Underfoot often in the day.
But like my kids, when they were young
I love to watch them play.

Aching feet
Legs feel like sticks
Back and shoulders
Need a fix.
Hands arthritic,
Can't take the cold
Workin' too hard
And gettin' old.
Too tired body
Depletes my mind
Devastated by
The daily grind
Here comes Thursday
Friday's best
Thankful for
A weekend rest.
