Superman Love

I loved you with an intensity so powerful it was superman love,
An addiction so well sown that it fit me perfectly like my superman gloves,

Each time you were in trouble and called out my name,
I came to your rescue like Superman to Lois Lane ,

No matter what time day or night,
I was your superman ready to protect you, ready to fight,

I flew to your rescue to defend you against everything that threatened you,
I protected you, defended you no matter what I had to do,

When I had doubt I would quickly tuck it away underneath my gold belt,
I was superman, I could take care of whatever you dealt,

I was your superman love, and I was strong,
I was the hero, who rescued you all day long,

I had super human power, and I rescued you,
I could never admit how you brought me to my knees and broke me in two,

I was so busy flying to your rescue,
That I lost sight of myself in you,

Then one day I realized that my superman love was too good for you,
After all you had done, and still continued to do,

I realized that you didn’t want to be saved,
It was only power over me that you craved,

You lured me into thinking I was helping you,
You made me think, you would actually change too,

Instead you took off your mask, showed your true self as the villain,
At that point I realized who you were and I was not willing,

To be your superman, or rescue you anymore,
So I quickly crushed you, and kicked you out of my superman door

Candy Dish Pirates

The candy dish a hidden treasure,
round, clear crystal, it sits exposed,
the pirates seek it sweet pleasure
wanting the valuable contents enclosed,

They travel from abroad
In there ship they sail by the dozen,
as they reach there gold they applaud,
Its every man for his self they would sell out there only cousin,

The round clarion crystal shell is staggering in beauty,
hearts and lace wrap around making it's seemless impression
the lid on top is heaving enforcing it's duty,
and all who reach the inside must make a confession,

The rainbow of color it controls
yellow, green, pink and red,
completes the seekers ultimate goal,
as the delightful pleasure moves through them they are fed,

On to the next treasure they sail,
searching for more treasure wrapped beneath a crystal veil.

Getting Peace

The only thing that got me through,
was knowing that one day you would pay too,

Knowing that no matter how much you fight, and no matter how much you lie,
One day you will die,

And when you are on your knees before the great one,
You will not be able to hide all that you have done,

There will be no hiding each time you broke my heart,
Each time your words tore me apart,

There will be no hiding how you tried to kill me,
Your cruelty will be an open book for you and him to see,

I have peace knowing that whatever you do,
No matter how you may lie to those around you,

No matter how many others you affect with your disease,
You will still pay for what you did to me,

And because I have that knowledge I can be at peace,
I can forgive you and I can move on with ease.

Train Ride To Forever

Wrap your arms around me, feel my heart beat,
Hold me tight and kiss me deep,
Take my hand, climb aboard, together we will go,
Our destination is forever, don’t be afraid just let go,
The trip will be long, and as the days and time go by,
I’ll hold you, cherish you, love you without questioning why,
Hop aboard this train fall into my arms and feel safe,
It is only you and I, I want to touch you, kiss you and wake up to your sweet face,
As we go, we will go hand in hand,
If you fall I will give you my strength to stand,
Along the way we will laugh, we will cry,
Together we will soar and our spirits will fly,
As the train comes in and we arrive at forever,
Don’t worry we will be standing side by side arriving there together,
Will you come with me, and hold me as we go,
Love me, cherish me, never to let go,
Will you be there with me at forever,
Will you let me love you, cherish you and stand with me together,
Will I be the one who can make you feel safe,
Will you let me, touch you, kiss you and hold your sweet face,
Will you be there through good times and bad,
Whenever I am happy, or whenever I am sad,

Will I touch your soul, and make your spirit fly,
Can you love me without questioning why,
So I say to you,
Wrap your arms around me, feel my heart beat,
Hold me tight and kiss me deep,
Take this train with me, and come along for the ride,
You have my heart already, and it is up to you to decide

In the Earth Hour

It is up to you and in the earth hour,
To save the energy and shut off the power,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

It is up to you and I to be aware,
To conserve our energy and show we care,
Ticket tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

The trees from our forests are disappearing,
Yet we only interested in the clothes we are wearing,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

Entire animal species and colonies are being eliminated,
It is up to you and I to wake up and stop acting incapacitated,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

The dirty chemicals that we put into our air,
Can make us sick yet we don’t care,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

The water that we all drink is polluted,
Yet we go on day by day and stay diluted,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

How long will it take you and I to understand?
That we are polluting her resources and using up all her land,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,

Will you do something, all that you can?
To stop polluting, recycle and understand,

If we don’t get it right,
Conserve our energy and win this fight,

Mother Nature may be crumbled
And it may be too late to correct our fumble,

Tick tock on he clock Mother Nature is waiting.

How Can I Say Goodbye?

My little boy asked me “mommy why are you crying?”
In the midst of my sadness about you dying,

I told him you went to see Jesus, because you were sick,
He made you all better, He did the trick,

Now you fly high in the sky with the angels above,
Watching over us with your enduring love,

When I was hurt you made me well,
When I was down you didn’t let me dwell,

Head Up High, Shoulders Back,
You kept me moving forward without any slack,

You taught me so many things how to cook and sew,
You gave me your love and watched me grow,

Your death has brought me to my knees,
Crying and asking God to bring you back please,

Just one more moment to say goodbye,
One more chance to look you in the eye,

To tell you how much I love you, and all the reasons why,
To give you my love, and to hug you goodbye,

God has the power to remind us who’s boss,
Your death is so saddening and such a great loss,

I will never be ready to let you go,
I will always carry you with me and I will always know,

How lucky this world was to have you,
How much you loved me and how much I love you to.

The Swans Journey

The white swan swims
in the waters deep
The moon light shines
his way as his moves his feet

Silently he goes
toward the other side
to the one that he loves
where secrets do not hide

The wind pushes him on his way
as he kicks his feet
over the water he glides smoothly
his white color covers him except for his beak

His pace is steady
his wings tucked into him
he is half way through
with the path of his swim

In his lovers sight
he tredges on
to be with her
as the wait has been long

He reaches the shore
and noise rises from his beak
for his one true love
that kisses his check
