Monet Kelly Poem
You have lost the game,
Which is impossible to win.
Surrender your defeat,
And I will so mine.
Give in to fate,
Let it run it's course.
And I will take this route too.
Thou have not a clue,
What life is about.
Not one man nor woman,
On this Earth does.
Durst you challenge this?
Admit your illegitimacy,
And I will so mine.
Surrender your beliefs,
And give in to peer pressure.
Do this, and you shall have eternal glory.
Among the great you might live,
Among the poor you may die.
But I will never surrender,
I have won the impossible game.

Monet Kelly Poem
Carpe Diem,
Literal translation of seize the day.
How can one do that,
With all this money at stake?
Economic depression,
A sustained downturn.
I have just one question.
Where is all the concern?
Greedy palm itchers,
Rival to communism.
The workforce overturned,
Jobs sent to Mexico.
All of this spurned,
On hard-working families.
The community targets,
Just one foe.
Is it the government's fault?
Where has all the money gone?
APOCALYPSE NOW.
What are they not telling us?
Money spent on useless government organizations.
Cutting school programs;
When these young minds predict our future.
All money is; A medium that can be exchanged for goods and services.
Values; Importance, desirability.
Choose between what we want and what we need.
"Unnecessary? Cowering down here in sludge and pollution..learning nothing"
APOCALYPSE NOW.
Do your part,
and I will do mine.

Monet Kelly Poem
Once upon time doesn't always mean a happy ending,
You try to stick out but just keep on blending.
Each day we get a tad bit stronger,
Moral dilemmas forcing us under.
Can I hold on just a little bit longer?
Everyone always stealing your thunder.
What is right and what is wrong?
Does dear Mirriam have an answer?
Just barely getting through life's hardships,
Struggling to get along.
Money and love being our only enhancer.
What has the world come to?
I durst you to explain.
Soldiers and innocent civilians,
Writhing in pain.
Hiroshima, Nagasaki, the list goes on and on...
The only answer to war is by dropping a bomb.
We call out to those we care for deeply,
Yet, the only answer they supply is understated so cheaply.
"Words before blows," is all I can say.
Then just carry on,
And treasure the bright sun of each new day.

Monet Kelly Poem
Glistening in the incandescent sun,
An exuberant faction overjoyed with triumph.
A glorious acquisition has been achieved.
Engraved for eyes of future generations,
A plinth to wield the accomplishment.
Auriferous is the main depiction,
A chalice too valuable for drinking.
Sheathed with the dust of time.
Trapped behind a false mirror.
Fewer become enticed,
By it’s sullen magnificence.
Those who get arrested into a gaze,
Are left to bethink,
Of the austerity faced by those,
To obtain this tribute.
Guess what it's about :)
