Crescent Moon

Gazing at the sickle moon
Someday I will be a pale star -
A shining light in someone’s dream
Who possessed most of my dreams

I will be finally pain - free
Emptied of the earthly vanities
Of this sickening, corrupted world
With its immeasurable cruelties

Long before there were wars
There were living humans
Walking free in the green fields with
Fleeting blossoms of the trees

For thousand years they planted
Willow trees deep in the ground
at Easter spring time of their life
To give rebirth to the silent souls

The moon was a slender crescent
Over the green tree temples
I was falling into a heavy dream
That was my life final sleep

The Soul Tower

In the tower of my soul
A cloud of gloom descends
With no rays of light
To brighten its thoughts

A glimpse at its complexity
An elusive grin of hope -
Then greying gloom again
Wrapping the soul into a rope

Life goes from light to dark
Roaming in circles of emptiness
Until its purpose is lost, then
The soul tower turns to dust

Alone

There are so many solitudes
For thousand years and more
Which one is mine?
Or I am in all of them alone?

Tanka

Sitting on my thoughts -
A solid agony flow
With a praying soul
I envision slow healing
Freeing the sad bodily pain

The Saddest of Life

The saddest day in life -

Is it when you die?

Or when life joy is dead?

Is it when you are unloved?

Or you are unable to ever love again?

Is it when your dream is unfulfilled?

Or when you no longer dream?

Is it when hope is all lost?

Or you lose yourself to hope?

The saddest day in life -

Is when you bury dreams and hope

While staying alive

Ever Since

Ever since
Life is spasmodic
A broken realm
Of high and low tides

Ever since
There is no one to count
But pellucid self –
Merging into oblivion

Ever since
Time is clocking
Years surrender
To abundance of blame

Ever since
It’s unfinished wars
With narcissistic powers
That reign the rule

Ever since
I have amassed wisdom
That life is too short
To invoke justice

Friends

Some I call friends
But they don’t let me in
They need you close
If you meet their own gain

The fibres of my heart
So deep and trustful
Become a wrenching heave -
A broken spirit, so humble

In a world of substantial fitting
And dependence on each other
With time, they could be you
On their way to salvation

Inferno

A smoky inferno dimmed the sun
No language on Earth
Can capture the feeling
Of human life loss
Kind words anchor your heart
Your thoughts are with the Heavenly stars
The soul is trapped in silence.

HAIKU

under the sad moon
shadows of two hugging lovers –
a love memory?

STAR IN HEAVEN

There is a star up in Heaven
Deeply nested in my lonely heart
I talk to it every night
Its beauty is ethereal
I still love you the same
The eternal bond is so unreal
It gives me the wings of a crane
