Who can deny the serenity experienced in the "N" which stands for Nation
And the grand solace in the final "A" which stands for All.
These and many more can be experienced in the Nirvana Called Ghana
Where the People are Hospitable, and Lively
If you want to catch a warm welcome someday, make a trip to my West African Nirvana, where everything is beautiful and Welcoming.

MAMA
A Gold-Mud day it was
I could not wait to sprint-out
You were wailing and laughing with Pride
As if it was your right and privilege
Mama,
I do not remember that day vividly;
But I reckon you as evergreen as you’ve always been
Then I was a little child with the lil problems
Clumsy at playing with the toys
Biting after anyone opposite my will (My Best suit)
Mama,
I remember vaguely;
And you were as radiant and loving as you could be
Punishing me lovingly and bringing me to a disciplined upbringing
I wished; and you made them come true
Not only by the bedtime story books, which I was fluent in,
But also the assurance of all the crazy-bogs and fairytales
Coming alive
Mama,
I remember;
You were as positive as you could be (A Good Thing)
Life happened and Life happens
You try as much as you can to protect us
Shielding and at most times taking the
Blows of life, fully,
Even bearing our share of it
Mama,
Ever greenly, a super-Awesome Cop-Mum
Your Halo of Grace and God’s (Oyee Adie yeeeii) anointing
Continues to set you above and even illuminates us, as, your children
Mama, Momzy, Mma, Mum, MOTHER,
For all the GOOD things done unending in my and sibling(s)’ life
We offer you the accolades of positive pride and diligence
For the things hurtful;
A conscious effort is and will be made to reconcile and heal bitter-pasts

NOT ANYMORE
Growing up was bitter-sweet
Strong and confident at first
Insecure in the middle
Shy and naïve; close to his prime
Afraid, naïve, and broken- to be expected
And the assertion goes on,
To him
Being broken and healed….
Yet it was hidden there
In the heart, mind, and all other magically crafted stores within
And then he plunged and broke free, soaring,
Now he was
Grasping all the confidence made bare
Extinguishing, fiercely, the once and
Still, dangerously lingering trace of the bitter past…..
NOT ANYMORE…. An anthem, now
Pushing him to greatness and to the highest altitude,
And Yes!
NOT ANYMORE….
To the;
Days of Darkness-Past,
The evilness that seeks to destroy,
The inferiority that limits me- close to nothingness,
The non-entity which was desired to be branded on me,
The chances I missed to Love HIM (God),
And
The carry-away excuses I made to prevent myself from expressing my
Sincere LOVE and Gratitude to my Awesome Family (THE ASANGALISAHS’ AND ADIALEYS’)…..
