My First Tear

Never did I think that you would make me cry.
Until that day came and I saw that look in your eyes.
I thought we could be lovers.
You thought we could be friends.
I guess we were both wrong.
You say it has to end.
When you said this I shed my first tear.
Life will go on and so must I.
I cant spend my days wondering why?
If you are happy then I am too.
Just remember one thing.
I will always love you.

The Silence

The silence is so empty it makes me want to scream

My tears run down my face while no one is watching

My heart is beating but also it's breaking

My head has so many thoughts just racing

My stomach is in knots I want it all to stop

This loneliness is killing me

He's gone away somewhere I can not be

Shackles and chains with no escape

Bright orange two piece suit not the latest in fashion

No family no friends no
love found anywhere

Oh and I'm the one who
put him there

Yes the silence is so empty it makes me want to....

Husband

My best friend is medium height,
With dark hair yet balding.
Hazel eyes with hands that calm me.
So graceful he speaks with words of wisdom.
His voice enchanting he soothes my nerves.
My best friend, he knows me
My smile, my jabber.
He makes no haste.
For I am not witty.
When hes not around he is still with me.
My best friend is all mine.
There is no love like his.
Positively no other.
I also like to call him...
Husband and lover.

Jesus

Jesus
He is the only way
Lift up your voice
Sing
For he gives us
Everlasting life

God's Light

Black is not his shade
So bring him to the sun's rays
Let God shine on him
