Thanksgiving Food

I like hot turkey
and fluffy mash potatoes
I like dinner rolls
and sweet deliciously ham
I like warm brownies the best

Forest Flies

<" Splash">
As i turn around the corner is see,
Two small creatures ever so slightly flying.
As i try to make out what they are.
They see me and start fluttering.
I followed them as if i was a cat and they were my mice.
Running through the woods, and not looking back as my mom calls my name.
keeping my eyes on them through the brush and bushes.
 <"smack">
I have run into a tree, but that's not stopping me.
I'm running as fast as i can.
as i hear the branches <"Crack" > under my foot, and
the wind blowing through my hair <"whoosh">.
We have finally made our destination.
As the bright light comes near.
And I can hear the <"flaps"> of their wings.
I can see the creatures beside the stream.

Some Hearts Never Mend

Our hearts will never mend.
Broken into two pieces.
You were my wall to stand up against and you shattered me instead.
It's hard to love again because if the scars you left.
You broke our promise to love.
